Istoodintheforest, disoriented, my heart pounding in my chest. How did I end up here? The last thing I remembered was falling asleep in Weston’s warm, solid embrace. A chilling sense of foreboding crept over me as I took in my surroundings.

The forest had transformed into a sinister version of itself, a grotesque Wonderland. The air was thick with a swirling fog, tainted purple and red, distorting the shapes and shadows around me. It felt alive, malicious, like it was watching me, breathing down my neck.

"Fuck," I whispered, my voice barely audible over the eerie silence that engulfed the woods. Every instinct screamed at me to run, to escape this twisted place. But where would I go? This was no longer the forest I knew.

I took a cautious step forward, my senses on high alert. The ground beneath my feet felt spongy, unnatural. The trees, once familiar and comforting, now loomed like twisted giants, their branches writhing in the still air.

A rustling sound caught my attention, and I froze. From the corner of my eye, I saw it—a grotesque rabbit with a serpentine tail, its eyes glowing an unnatural shade of green. It watched me with an intelligence that was unnerving.

I backed away slowly, but the creature mirrored my movements, its long tail coiling and uncoiling with a mind of its own. My heart raced, and a cold sweat broke out on my skin. I had never seen anything like this, not even in my wildest nightmares.

With a burst of speed, I turned and ran. The forest seemed to twist and shift around me, the fog disorienting me, making me doubt my direction. I could hear the creature behind me, its bizarre, slithering movements a constant reminder of the danger on my heels.

Branches snagged at my clothes, roots tripped me up, but I pushed forward, driven by sheer terror. My breath came in ragged gasps, each inhale burning my lungs.

I stumbled into a clearing, and for a moment, I thought I was safe. But then I heard it—the low growl of something large and unseen. My blood turned to ice. I scanned the clearing frantically, trying to locate the source of the sound.

Then I saw it. Emerging from the fog, a monstrous figure, part wolf, part... something else. Its fur was matted and unnatural, its eyes a deep, blood red. It was like nothing I had ever encountered, a creature born from the darkest depths of the forest's corrupted magic.

I took a step back, my mind racing. Could I fight it? Could I outrun it? Panic clawed at my throat, and for a moment, I was paralyzed with fear.

The creature lunged at me, its jaws wide open, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth. I dodged to the side, but it was fast, unnaturally so. It spun around, its claws swiping at me, grazing my arm. Pain seared through me, and I stumbled back, my vision blurring with tears.

I couldn't win this fight. I needed to escape, but the creature was relentless, its every move calculated and deadly. I dodged another swipe, my energy waning, my hope fading.

As the creature lunged at me again, I knew I couldn't outrun it. This might be the end. The thought of never seeing Weston again, of our child growing up without me, filled me with a despair so deep it was almost suffocating.

The creature's breath was hot on my face, its growl a death knell in my ears. I closed my eyes, bracing for the impact, for the pain

Lying on the cold, damp forest floor, I was certain my end had come. The monstrous creature towered over me, its breath foul and hot against my skin. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the inevitable.

But then, there was a deafening roar.

Suddenly, a massive force collided with the creature, ripping it away from me. My eyes flew open in shock. There, standing between me and certain death, was the Guardian of the forest. He was immense, a towering figure of raw, primal power. His form was a blend of wolf and man, with antlers that seemed to reach for the sky. His fur shimmered with an ethereal light, and his eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity.

The Guardian moved with a grace that belied his size, his every motion fluid and powerful. The creature, caught off guard, snarled and lunged at him, but the Guardian was faster. With a swift, powerful motion, he swiped at the creature, his claws leaving deep gashes in its hide.

The creature howled in pain and anger, its eyes burning with a malevolent fire. It attacked again, its movements desperate and frenzied. But the Guardian was undeterred, his expression one of calm determination.

They clashed, a maelstrom of fur and claws, an epic battle between the forces of darkness and the guardian of the forest's magic. The creature fought savagely, but the Guardian's strength was overwhelming. With a final, mighty blow, he struck the creature down, its body falling limp to the ground with a thud that echoed through the clearing.

I lay there, panting, my heart racing with a mix of fear and awe. The Guardian turned to me, his gaze piercing. For a moment, we just looked at each other, an unspoken understanding passing between us.

"What are you doing here?" he finally asked, his voice deep and resonant, echoing through the clearing.

His question hung in the air, unanswered, as I struggled to find my voice. I was in the presence of a being of immense power, the very protector of the forest I had sought, and yet I was at a loss for words.

The Guardian's voice was deep, resonating through the clearing. "I asked you a question, Little Wolf." His words were tinged with an authoritative tone that demanded an answer.

I struggled to gather my thoughts, my heart still racing from the near-death experience. "I-I don't know," I stuttered, my voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't remember coming here."

He studied me intently, his eyes scrutinizing every inch of me. Then, with a fluid grace that belied his massive size, he began to walk in a slow, deliberate circle around me. The air seemed to thrum with energy as he moved, the forest itself holding its breath in his presence.

"You're not here," he finally said, his voice a low rumble.

Confused and disoriented, I looked up at him. "What do you mean?"
