He squeezes my hand gently, his amber eyes holding my gaze with unwavering certainty. "Yes, Emily," he says, his voice firm but filled with warmth. "It's over."

The forest comes alive with the sounds of celebration as people envelop one another in tearful embraces. The air vibrates with the energy of our shared victory, and I can’t help but grin as one of the wolf’s lifts Callie off her feet in a jubilant hug, their laughter ringing out like music. Bonnie takes one of the witches’ hands, both women weeping openly, their faces shining with pure elation.

"Emily," Logan's voice is a warm whisper in my ear, his breath tickling the sensitive skin of my neck. I turn to face him, his amber eyes meeting mine with an intensity that makes my heart race.

"Logan," I breathe, my voice quivering with the overwhelming emotions coursing through me. I realize my hand is still gripping his tightly, fingers intertwining in a familiar dance, our connection stronger than ever.

"Thank you," he murmurs, his thumb gently stroking the back of my hand. "Without you, we would have never found the strength to break the curse."

I shake my head, unwilling to accept all the credit. "It wasn't just me, Logan. It was everyone here. We did this together."

"Still," he insists, leaning closer until our foreheads touch, our breaths mingling in the small space between us. "You've changed everything for me, Emily."

His words send a shiver down my spine, the weight of what we've just accomplished settling heavy upon me. We share a silent moment, our eyes locked, conveying the depth of our feelings without needing to speak to them aloud. In his gaze, I see the hope we've fought so hard for and the love that has grown between us. And I feel it too – the certainty that we belong together, bound by the magic of Everwood and the passion that ignited the moment we met.

"Emily," Logan whispers, his voice barely audible above the continued celebrations around us. "I love you."

His words echo in my heart, filling me with a warmth that spreads through every fiber of my being. I smile, tears threatening to spill from my eyes, and squeeze his hand in response.

"I love you too, Logan. More than I ever thought possible."

As our lips meet, sealing our connection, I know that whatever challenges we may face in the future, we will face them together. For we have defeated the darkness that once threatened to consume us all, and now – bathed in the light of new beginnings – we are ready to embrace the boundless possibilities that lie ahead.

The elation around us is palpable as the townsfolk embrace and laugh, their voices carrying on the wind like a symphony of joy. I watch Logan's face, his amber eyes alight with a mixture of triumph and hope, and feel my own heart swell with the knowledge that we've finally broken free from the curse that has haunted Everwood for generations.

"Look at them," Logan murmurs, his gaze sweeping over the gathered crowd. "They can finally live without fear."

"Yeah," I agree, watching as Bonnie and Callie join hands, their faces wreathed in smiles. "It's like a weight has been lifted off everyone's shoulders."

“Logan!” We hear Ethan’s voice cry out and turn to see him approaching us while carrying an injured Iris in his arms.

“Grandma, what happened? Are you okay?!” Logan questions worriedly.

“I’m fine, dear boy, just bruised my arm but I’ll be alright.” She replies with a smile. Her arm is streaked with deep hues of blue and red, some scratches from an apparent struggle but nothing too bad.

“Those beasts thought they could take your Grandma out, but she fought back pretty hard. Just before we heard that loud crack, the shadow shifters completely vanished. It was crazy.” Ethan claims.

"Logan..." Iris murmurs, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "Your father would be so proud."

"Thank you, Grandma," he says softly, his voice thick with emotion.

Ethan sets Iris down gently and she embraces Logan in a warm hug.

As the realization sinks in, I look around at the determined faces of the townsfolk and the witches who have come together to fight for the one thing we all longed for – freedom from the curse that has plagued them for far too long.

Bonnie approaches to make sure Iris is okay. The two women turn towards us, their expressions shifting to match the determination in Logan's voice. I can't help but marvel at the strength and wisdom that radiates from them both – qualities that have undoubtedly played a crucial role in our victory today and I’ve quickly grown fond of these two strong women.

"Logan, Emily," Iris greets us warmly, her eyes twinkling with pride. "You did it."

"Thanks to all of you," I reply. "Without your help, we never would have broken the curse."

"True," Bonnie concedes, "but it was your love and unity that made it possible."

“Thank you both for your support through this, you were both an important part of this journey.” He states.

As we stand there, surrounded by the people we've fought so hard to protect, I feel a sense of hope unlike anything I've ever experienced before. With Logan by my side, and the support of our newfound family, I know that we can face whatever challenges the future may hold.

And as the moon shines high over the forest, casting its bright glow upon us all, I can't help but think that this is only the beginning of our story – one filled with love, magic, and endless possibilities.
