Oh. Fuck. I unzipped my pants slowly before pulling out my cock. I started to stroke it after wiping the precum with my thumb. My bear was rumbling in pleasure at the sound of her voice. My strokes matched her pants, picking up faster as hers did. My mind was blank except the woman on the other side of the door. What would she look like with her legs spread wide for me? Her cheeks would be flushed as my hands ran down her sides before pulling her legs over my shoulders. Gods, she’d be so wet as I slipped inside of her. She’d take me like she was made for me.
“Nnn!” Her moan was a little louder as there was a rustle of sheets. “Faster… go faster… Axel..!” She’d whispered this so softly, she barely got it out. I had to strain to hear it.
My cock was about to burst just listening to her. That’s when she came. She had to be biting something to stop her cry. The pure ecstasy that couldn’t be contained had me coming against the door. I was able to keep quiet by biting my lower lip until it bled on the inside but I came hard. I rested my forehead on the door as I panted after my release. Becca seemed to be in the same position. The sound of the vibrator turning off reminded me that I had just listened in on her and came all over the door.
Shit. I jerked my shirt over my head and wiped the door down just as I heard her walk into her bathroom. I threw my shirt in the hamper as I went into the room that I was sharing with Seth to grab a clean one. I looked at myself in the mirror in the master suite bathroom.
Shame washed over me. She was my friend. She wasn’t Felicity, yet I just came all over her door while listening to her like a pervert. Turning the cool water on, I splashed it on my face. How was I going to look her, or Felicity for that matter, in the eye again? Plus, why had she said my name? Not once, but twice!
The sound of her closing her door prompted me to throw on the clean shirt before leaving the room. She froze as she met my eyes. Her cheeks flushed bright red, matching my vision of her on the bed. I gulped but forced a smile.
“Hey, you ready? I’ve got everything ready except for the food in the cooler. Just gotta get that done and we can head out.” Acting like I heard nothing was a bit more difficult when I was face to face with her.
The food was just where I’d left it, but the fridge was still open. Becca was still behind me so I grabbed the fridge door just as she stepped next to the island.
“Am I missing anything?”
She took the food, averting her eyes from me. She was so cute.
“Um, no. Well, we need water, so grab a few bottles?” She rushed over to the picnic basket to finish getting it ready.
This was going to be an awkward hike if I didn’t act like I hadn’t listened in on her like an asshole. My bear was content, and he grumbled at me for being upset about what we’d done. For all he cared, she wanted us, just like she wanted the others.
Shaking out my shoulders, and clearing my thoughts, I grabbed four bottles from the lower shelf. These wouldn’t fit in the picnic basket, so I grabbed my backpack where I’d left it next to the door last night. I shoved my phone inside with the bottles.
“I’ll carry the stuff. You have a compass? Know how to use it?” I teased her.
That flash of fire in her eyes came back. Good.
“I know how to use a compass, but we’re not going to need it. I’ve been there so many times, I could get there blind folded.”
I cracked a grin at her. “Oh? Should we try that?”
She gave an exaggerated eye roll. “You know what? I was going to offer to help carry your backpack as a switch off with the basket. But for that? You get to carry it the whole way there!”
I was still laughing as we stepped out onto the deck. She gave the voice activation command for the security system to turn on within a few seconds after she’d closed the door. My eyes trailed down her body, checking to make sure she was wearing comfortable clothes and the right footwear for a hike. My bear rumbled happily taking in her curves while I ignored him.
“You have broken those boots in, right?”
“No. They’re brand new out of the box.”
“Sarcastic is not a nice look on you.” My grin just kept getting bigger.
She flipped her hair over her shoulder before proceeding to ignore me as I followed her toward the small pond. This was the first time we’d actually spent time alone, minus when she’d drawn me for her portfolio.
“So, we just follow the little stream up about two miles. The clearing is only about ten feet from the water, but you’ll know it when we get there.”
As we walked further into the forest, I made sure to walk next to her. My senses spread out as I searched for anything out of the ordinary. The early afternoon light shined through the gaps in the trees making it easy to see a well-worn, but old, path that we were following.
“How long has he been gone?”
Becca sighed softly as she glanced upward to the sky. “A little over fourteen years now. I miss him. I know it’s weird, but I have all these memories of him, even though I’d been so young when he’d passed. We spent a lot of time up here. I remember that the most.”
“You were close. I envy that.” My nose twitched at a faint unknown scent. I glanced to where it was coming from before dismissing it when I noticed a small hole in the ground. Must be a small rodent.
“Why? What about your parents?” I felt her gazing up at me as we continued our hike. The ground was starting to incline the further we walked.
Emotions swirled within me as thoughts raced through my mind. My family was all alive, but we weren’t exactly what anyone would call close. My grandparents ruled with an iron fist up. I’d grown up in the mountains here. The family owned a very large piece of land in the backwoods that kept us segregated from most of society. My father ran a hunting business for rich folks that kept electricity on. All the cubs were homeschooled. Our parents never wanted us to leave because they were terrified of the outside world and the Venandi.
