He glanced down before jerking his face back up with a look of utter terror. I had to hand it to him, he took a deep breath before he nodded once. “Anywhere.” His voice actually went high.

I kissed his chin as I wiggled down his body. “Alright. I’ll do it now.” His thighs shook. The thought of biting him in his most sensitive area was not a pleasing one to him.

Taking pity on him, I moved my head just as I was about to bite his tip and bit down on his inner thigh, feeling my canines lengthen as they sank into his muscle. His blood spilled across my tongue and it was ecstasy. My instinct was to bite more, harder, but I held back. A splash of warm liquid hit my cheek.

This was Seth. He was one of my mates. A guy that I was falling head over heels for.

I sat up, wiping my mouth and cheek with the back of my hand. Seth looked up at me with an open expression of emotions, and I felt tears prickle in response.

“You’re just as bad as Cody, aren’t you?” Seth’s voice whispered, strained with those emotions. He pulled me to him, resting me on top of him.

Before this summer, I would have freaked out and rolled off right away, afraid that I would have hurt him with my weight. Now, I rested my head over his heart and closed my eyes, listening to the beat. His hands ran gently down my back with soft caresses.

“Whatever comes our way,” I looked up at him, “I’m not afraid because I have you guys now.”

I’d started to fall asleep again when a knock on Seth’s door woke me. The sheets were wrapped around me in a cocoon. Seth went to the door to open it, giving me a very nice back end view because he’d not grabbed a pair of shorts.

“What’s up?” He kept his voice low.

“Damn it,” Jasper sounded annoyed. “Why didn’t you grab something to cover up with? That’s not fair.” He whined and I slapped my hands over my mouth not to laugh.

Seth leaned against the doorway, raising his arm above his head. “Jasper. What do you need?” His amusement couldn’t be disguised, even though he tried to stay serious.

“Wyn went upstairs to the guest room. Cody is passed out in Axel’s lap on the couch. They played a game and he was out like a light.”

Seth moved to the right, revealing Jasper, who looked exhausted. “Well, my bed is big enough. Get in.” He took Jasper’s hand and pulled him to the edge of it, looking at me. “Feel up to cuddling with our fox?”

I grabbed Jasper’s other hand and yanked him forward, laughing when his face ended up between my breasts. He struggled for a brief second before relaxing and his arms went around my middle. He sighed, his breath warm against my skin.

“I finally get to hold you naked, and I’m so tired.” Jasper looked up at me, his emerald jewels shining in the light. “Forgive me.”

I ran my fingers through his hair slowly, the strands soft. “Jasper, we have the rest of our lives together.” I kissed his forehead gently. “Just sleep and we can worry about everything else later.”

Seth got into bed, spooning Jasper and resting his arm across him to hold my hand. “Sleep, my loves. It is safe.”

With the combined heat of both of them, my eyes shut on their own as I fell to sleep.

Cody

The inner demons laughed at me. I couldn’t provide any kind of substance to the conversation. All I knew was that Becca was alive, a shifter now, and my mate.

Her animal was powerful. The amount of power she was giving off made my wolf roll on his back and expose his neck to her, even if she didn’t understand what was happening. The demons were right, I wasn’t worthy of her. I always screwed up.

When she’d sensed something was wrong, she’d moved to me. She’d easily distracted me with her touch and kisses. When Axel had pulled her back by her hair, I’d been ready to throw her on the table, fuck whoever watched, and just take her then and there.

Seth took her away to mate with her, which was his right, but it still hurt a little. I wasn’t sure why, but I did know it was stupid to be jealous. He was my alpha and as such, needed to mate with her first to establish that connection.

Plus, I’d been her first out of all of us. That helped ease the jealousy.

I went upstairs, sitting on the couch, after I heard Seth’s door closed. Jasper led Wyn up to the third floor to one of the guest rooms. Axel came up after he finished cleaning downstairs. It had been his turn to clean after dinner. He found me sprawled across the couch with my legs on the back of it.

He stood in front of me as I looked at him from upside down. The sounds of Becca in the throes of passion filtered through Seth’s door and my wolf whined.

“How about a game? We could go old school and play Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64.” He grabbed my arm, picking me up like a rag doll to sit up right. “Come on, pup.” He turned on the television, plugged in the system, threw the controller at me, and sat down next to me.

I moved so I was pressed against his side. I missed him and I needed touch tonight.
