“Cover for us,” Cillian tosses back as I sign the check and pocket my card. “If we’re not there, let Coach know we’ll take a separate car and meet up with y’all.”

My skin prickles as the energy shifts to my right, probably Sid again getting more thirst than the naked dudes on the stage.

I’m not prepared for the way the goth-nerd in my lap switches up when the beat drops, but his slow grind is kicking up the need to get off tonight.

I dip to keep up as the dude bends in half, the top of his head almost touching the floor. Strong hands anchor to my waist, and the scent of vanilla-mint fills my nostrils. “Hey, Blue.”

Fuuuck.

My head whips around.

“H-how?” My voice catches, and my heart is pounding hard.

“Thought we deserved a last dance.” He nibbles on my ear, heating my blood. “Pardon us,” he says over my shoulder to the guy now dancing by himself.

Last dance?

My eyes roll closed from the brush of his lips against my neck as the thrust of his hips sends mine rocking forward and back.

He’s done with me.

I don’t blame him, but still…

My hands squeeze the arms he’s wrapped around my waist as my head turns and catches his lips.

Heat builds with each rotation of our hips, his fingers snaking under my shirt to ghost along my stomach.

My feet leave the floor as I suck on his tongue.

Last dance?

His eyes tear open at the loss of my lips when I pull back.

“Let’s go,” I rasp.

I search for Sid and signal to him that I’m out.

His gaze pings between Salem and me, then he grins.

Salem

I’ve barely crossed the threshold of the bar into the night air when I’m pressed against the wall, and Blue’s gorgeous face closes in on me.

I open for him, and he feasts on my tongue.

Whistles from the group entering the bar don’t break the spell or stop his hand from gliding over my erection.

How can he want me this badly but be so distant?

I want answers, but not here.

I break our kiss. “I’m getting us a car.”

He stares at my lips, pupils blown.

I order an Uber, and after what feels like an inconceivably long four-minute wait, the car pulls up to the curb.
