We didn’t realize he was home a few weeks back when I was spread-eagled on the couch, getting pumped deep.

The guy’s too quiet. I’ve never heard him enter a room. I know he’s counting the days until his renovated condo in Anaïs’s building is ready.

I brush a quick kiss against Salem’s lips. “I missed you this morning.” He was already out of bed by the time I woke up, in full-on grump mode.

“Yeah?” He grabs my ass. “We’ll kick everyone out early.”

“Oooh. Tommy, bring the popcorn,” Kieran, Sid’s cousin, yells.

Denzel groans, covering his eyes and groping the air until he reaches the beer in the cooler, and then he scurries out.

“Last Christmas”—Kieran snickers as I turn and lean against Salem’s chest—“Tommy went downstairs to get me a snack and found Ty getting cannonballed.”

“In an elf onesie,” Tommy adds quietly, handing Kieran the bowl of popcorn.

“It wasn’t that bad,” Sid calls out from the living room.

“Yeah, it was,” Ty yells for us to hear. “He fell into the Christmas tree.”

We burst out laughing.

“Anaïs, come here,” Blue calls as we’re left alone in the kitchen.

“Wait. Cillian and I are hammering Sid and Ty,” she calls back.

“Lies. Ya’ll are up one game,” Sid replies. “And based on this hand, we’re fittin’ to run a Boston.”

“It’ll be quick,” Blue says, shivering in my arms as I work his neck with my tongue.

“You either need to stop or finish what you’re starting,” I warn as he caresses my dick through my jeans.

“We can run downstairs real quick,” he breathes against my ear. “The wine cellar, mmm.” He grinds against me. “Or theater? No one can hear us down there.”

“Wherever.” I reach into his waistband. “Right here.”

“Okay, no, not right here,” Anaïs says, doing an about-face.

I snort and remove my hands as Blue laughs and says, “Wait.”

“You summoned me?” She turns around.

He holds up the box of bandages.

“What’s that?” She comes closer. “Are those…?”

He nods. “Unicorns.”

She covers her mouth. “You told him about the time Carter yelled at you because you…”

He nods.

“Oh, wow,” I whisper as her eyes turn watery.

“You made her cry,” Blue says to me.

“It’s so…” Her head tips back to the ceiling as she fans her eyes.
