Before I can stop myself, I snort. “We aren’t talking about blow jobs, Aurora. Let’s try and keep this clean, yeah?”
She shakes her head. “I mean, I didn’t say anything about blow jobs, but sexual activities can be seen as an act of service. I mean, not every man likes going down on a woman, but if he does, even when he doesn’t like it, then he’s doing it for you. It’s an act that shows he cares about you.”
“Oh, love. If a man doesn’t enjoy going down on you, then you have yourself the wrong man. There’s nothing quite like getting a taste of the sweet nectar of the gods straight from the source. I think you need to make better choices.” I wink at the screen.
“Okay, God’s Gift to Women. I never said all men don’t, but it’s true that some men don’t. Just like not all women enjoy blowing a guy. All people are different and one doesn’t make another better just because they do or don’t enjoy oral.”
“I think we are getting way off track here. How did we go from some asshole not treating his girl right to oral?” Drake asks, trying to defuse the situation.
Aurora takes a deep breath. “You’re right, Drake. My apologies. Your British friend there likes to rile me up. You never said, Liam, what’s your love language?”
I hate how easily she dismisses me. It makes me want to embarrass her. Maybe see how those cheeks would look all pink.
“Mine? Darling, mine is touch, of course.” I glance over to see him leaning on Drake. “I show and love to be shown the level of care between myself and my partner through touch. Something as simple as holding hands while in public to pressing my lips to their head every chance I get. If I care about you, I want my hands on you. So honestly, this debate over oral is right up my alley.” Liam glances at me, smirking.
“Thank you, Liam. I knew you’d see where I’m coming from.” I nod at him.
“Of course. I mean, going down on a girl is like a decadent dessert. For the right woman, I could spend eternity there.” He moves his eyes to his phone screen, then back to me.
“Oh? Do you have someone in mind?” Aurora asks.
I might be imagining it, but she looks tense all of a sudden. Could she be jealous? Is Liam the one she wants?
“I may have someone in mind, but there are stipulations that come with dating one of us. We aren’t your average men, after all. We have specific needs and wants that would have to be discussed before we could accept a serious girlfriend into the fold.” Liam coughs as Drake elbows him in the gut.
I shoot him a glare. What the fuck is he getting at?
“I see. Well, you have millions of women who would love to be that girl . I’m sure you’ll find one to meet your requirements.”
“What about you?” Santi asks. “Do you think you could meet our expectations?”
She laughs, her cheeks growing red. “I’m not sure. I guess I’d have to know what they are before I could make that decision.”
I clear my throat. “It doesn’t matter. Dear Aurora has already said she doesn’t have time for a relationship. Isn’t that right?”
She rolls her eyes. “I did say that. I don’t really have time, but if I found the right man, I’d make time. Isn’t that what life is about? Finding someone to love and enjoying being alive while you are living?”
Drake cuts in. “Well, I think that’s it for the night. Thank you, Aurora, for not only joining us but for challenging us to really consider the situation and offer up the best advice we can. As a disclaimer, we are not licensed therapists, nor are we relationship experts. We are just four assholes who enjoy giving their opinions to our fans. If you don’t already, give our girl Aurora a follow and we will see you back here at our next live.”
Our girl. Why do I love the sound of that so much?

The live with Aurora the other night was interesting.
I have to admit that Ezra is right though. I don’t think any of us have thought things through clearly.
We all have some sort of interest in her. Even the asshole himself. There’s no way we could all truly land her though. She would have to show a preference at one point or another, right?
I’m the old fucker of the group. Ten years her senior. There’s no doubt that I’m attracted to this woman for more than her looks, but when given a choice, she’s more likely to choose one of the younger guys.
Still, I can’t help but flirt with her a bit. It’s like an addiction that I never asked for.
I want to push Ezra to change his mind and invite her to meet us in real life, but part of me agrees with him. What if it ruins everything we have going?
These guys are my family. If someone came in and tried to wreck that, I would go ballistic. I have family back in Puerto Rico, but they don’t mean what these guys mean to me. They haven’t been here with me through thick and thin like they have. Hell, they sent me away to boarding school, deciding instead to keep my sister home with them.
I won’t lie. There is some lingering resentment there.
