We were meant to do this. To share one woman.

Not any woman though. Aurora.

“She’s so fucking beautiful it hurts. How did we get so lucky?” Drake murmurs.

“Sometimes that question keeps me up at night,” I confess.

“Same,” Liam says. “Then I remember I licked her, so she’s mine. No take backs.”

We all look over at Liam and raise our brows.

“Ours.” He rolls his eyes. “You know what I meant.”

“I’m glad she’s back home,” I whisper as I crawl in next to Santi as the other two start to talk quietly between them.

“Me too. I missed her so fucking much. We are never letting her go again,” he replies.

Aurora speaks up from out of nowhere. “Do I get a say in that?”

Her voice is husky as if she’s talking in her sleep.

“Of course,” Liam tells her. “You make all the decisions.”

“Good. I have a big one I should probably share with you guys.”

We all stay silent, waiting for her to speak. When she doesn’t, I swear I want to throttle her.

How dare she say that then fall asleep?

Sitting up, I’m about to lean over Santi to wake her up when Drake does it for me. “Ror. You can’t do that. Wake up and tell us,” he says as he shakes her awake.

“What?” she hums, fluttering her tired eyes. “What do you want me to tell you?”

“Your big decision,” I huff.

Aurora turns toward me and smiles softly. “Oh. I’m doing my senior year online so I can stay with you guys. I don’t want to be without any of you. I love you too much. So if you’ll have me, I want to be with you forever.”

“If we will have you?” Drake asks, leaving kisses all over her face.

“We will fucking have you,” I tell her.

“Not even a question,” Santi adds.

“Through this life and the next,” Liam whispers as he curls around Drake’s torso with a smile.

And as we all settle, I let that sink into my brain.

Most friends fall in love and end up drifting apart. Going their separate ways. They maybe reach out once a year, send a Christmas card in the mail. Maybe tell their kids stories about when they were younger and what they and their friends used to do.

The thought used to keep me up at night, but not anymore. That won’t be us.

We found the one woman to share who loves us as much as we love her.

How lucky is that?
