“Holy shit, right there,” I said. “Never stop hitting there.”

Luke huffed a laugh. “My stamina is excellent, but that’s asking a lot.”

I pressed my lips to his mouth, arching my hips to meet his. “Less talky, more fucky.”

“Suddenly, she’s all demanding.”

“What can I say? You bring out that side of me.” I nipped at his jaw, his neck. “When it comes to you, I want more, more—oh Goddddd.” My eyes rolled back, my head lolled, and pleasure streaked through me, so strong I could no longer speak or think or do anything but feel.

To have two orgasms almost seemed selfish, nevertheless one barreled down on me, the constant hammering of my G-spot reaching the bursting point. I called Luke’s name again—anyway I think I did, and then I free-fell into the exquisite sensations having their way with me.

Snapwent the last thread on his careful control, and his hips slammed into mine as he pumped faster and harder. He came with a grunt, collecting me into his arms and rocking against me as he rode out his release.

Then we fell to the bed, a tangled heap of sweaty limbs.

“The room,” I rasped. “The room’s still spinning.”

“Are we still in a room? I can’t even tell anymore.” Luke let out a long exhale. He groped around the bed, clamped onto me, and pulled me to him so that we were chest to chest and nose to nose. “That sex was reaching the summit sex. Without the harrowing hike up or the knowledge you’re going to have to eventually head back down. I’ve reached the highest peak, and now I miraculously find myself at the base of the mountain, and there’s a gorgeous naked woman at my side.”

I pursed my lips and went over the top looking around the bed. “I must’ve gotten cheated, becauseIdon’t have a naked woman at my side.” Luke jabbed me in the side, and I giggled and snuggled closer. “I don’t have the mountain climbing experience, but as far as dude climbing goes, that was the best by far. Also, my favorite adventure of ours so far.”

“I concur.”

I slanted my mouth over his, and once we started kissing again, it was almost impossible to stop. After all, this might be our only chance to scale these particular peaks.

But then I recalled him saying that he was always anxious to get going or spread out alone after sex. I sat up, holding the sheet up over my boobs. “So yeah, that was fun. I guess I’ll just get going.”

Luke’s brow furrowed, and he sat up next to me. “What’s the big hurry? Do you have another date?”

“No, silly. Didn’t I make it clear that there’s no point with you around?”

“It was clear until you tried to cut out early.”

“Well, you were rather clear when you told me that you’re not into cuddling or sharing your bed, and I get it. I’m just trying to be understanding.” Despite my best attempts to keep my emotions nice and level, a hint of the vulnerability and hurt jabbing at my exposed heart seeped through the words. “I don’t want to overstay my welcome.”

“Ellie. Sweetheart.” Luke wrapped his arms around me, and while I’d enjoyed every hug we’d shared, naked hugging was totally where it was at. “You’re definitely the exception to the rule. Maybe it’s because we were friends first, or perhaps it’s a new adventure where you get to take the lead, but I was digging the cuddling thing, and I demand more.”

“Demand? Really? You think that’s how to get your way with me?”

With his arms still enveloping me, he fell into the comfort of the soft mattress, bringing me along. “Brute force it is.”

A giggle slipped out and I gave a contented sigh as I settled against his chest. His firm muscles formed the perfect pillow, just for me. Luke skated his fingers along my spine, the callused drag of them nearly lulling me to sleep.

The knock on the bedroom door caused us both to jump. I yanked the blanket up over myself as I sat up, positioning my body behind Luke so he could fight the monster.

A monster who knocked—okay, so obviously my logic was skewed by the haze of amazing sex and dozing while snuggling.

“Yes?” Luke asked, placing himself in front of me like a shield.

“Do you know whose car is parked out front?” a high-pitched female voice asked. “It’s not the gardener’s or the maid’s—they already went home for the day, and I’m sure they’d warn me if they changed cars. We also pay them enough to afford a safe vehicle that runs properly. I’m about to call the police and tell them I’m afraid someone’s casing the neighborhood.”

“Jeez, Mom,” Luke muttered, pinching the bridge of his nose. Then he raised his voice. “I have company, and her car is parked in the driveway. No need to involve the police.”

“Oh.” The interest in his mom’s voice was palpable. “Female company?”

“I’m so sorry,” Luke whispered. “You’re seeing what I mean about making women disappear now, aren’t you? Like I’ve told you before, if I weren’t only here temporarily, I’d rent an apartment, but it didn’t seem worth it for such a short whi—”

“It’s not a big deal,” I whispered back. “I totally get it.”
