Taeja blushed and looked away, pretending not to hear Zain’s snicker from beside her as they walked away.

He threw an arm over her shoulder. “Watching them turns you on?”

“It d-doesn’t,” she stuttered, still blushing.

“Don’t lie to me. You like the risk, and that’s okay.”

“I never did that before…” she mumbled as they arrived in their room. She pulled away from him and walked away. “We shouldn’t have done that—”

Zain grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her to him. Using his other hand to grip her chin, he made her look at him. “Stop that. You liked it, and I fucking lovedit. You’ve never done anything like that before, I get it. But never feel ashamed about what you do when you have sex with us. Especially me. Got it?”

Seeing the fire burning in his eyes, Taeja nodded. “Okay. I’m sorry.”

He opened his mouth to say something, probably chastise her for apologizing, but he closed his mouth. He placed his lips against her forehead, giving it a long kiss before pulling away and releasing her. Walking away, he said, “Go shower.”

It was on the tip of her tongue to ask him to shower with her, but she decided against it. Grabbing the necessities, she scurried to the bathroom and started showering.

As the warm water washed away the dried cum, Taeja blushed some more. “Mi nuh know why me a gwan like idiot,” she scolded herself. “I’m too sexually liberated to be acting this shy. I amthatgirl, and I loved it.”

Taeja repeated the mantra a few more times before exiting the shower. She dried her skin, then threw the towel atop the sink. She’d walk back to the bedroom naked, just to remind Zain that she’d never been afraid of him. Ofthem.

Straightening her shoulders, she strolled to the bedroom.

Zain’s head snapped up and his eyes roamed her skin, stirring the heat to life inside her again. Pretending not to notice his attention, she applied generous amounts of her favorite glitter body oil to her skin. Then, she put on the neon yellow swimsuit that could’ve passed as two flimsy pieces of string and stepped into her tight jean shorts.

A knock came on the door, and Taeja’s brows furrowed. She walked toward the door and looked through the peephole. Seeing Wayne, she cracked the door. “Yes?”

“Mi can use unu shower?” Wayne asked.

“Why?”

“Just come from the pool and was going to shower in the room, but the knob is stuck. I called maintenance, and they said thirty minutes. Mi nav the patience.”

Taeja looked over her shoulder at Zain. “Can he?” she asked, and Zain nodded. Taeja opened the door wider, and upon seeing Zain, Wayne’s eyes widened.

“Actually, mi nuh waa bathe at all—” Wayne turned to leave.

Taeja pulled her brows together. “What? Come shower,Wayne.”

“No, I’ll j-just go ask my sister,” he said, and sprinted down the hallway.

Confused, Taeja shut the door. She walked toward Zain and sat on his lap.

Zain buried his face in her neck. “You smell good.”

“And I look better.” She smiled as his rough hands caressed her thighs. She remembered the days Zain used to be scared to touch her or have her touch him, and now he was becoming more comfortable with touch. Which reminded her… “Zain?”

“Yeah?” he answered between kisses along her neck.

“Why were you guys at a club the night we met?” she asked, and he pulled away. “Back then, you didn’t like people touching you. I mean, you still don’t, but you’re not really like that anymore. And a club is a very packed place.”

“I was trying to get myself more used to being around people. My brother was helping me.”

“Oh… So, you guys weren’t looking for a girlfriend that night?” Taeja asked, and Zain shook his head.

Taeja smiled. “This is gonna sound cheesy, but I think we were destined to meet that night.”

“It does sound cheesy.”
