“You’re a fucking temptation sweetheart, and seeing you dancing is like foreplay to us,” Gray whispered into my ear, biting down on my lobe. I gasped and opened my eyes, taking in his eyes darkening as he brushed my inner thigh. I bit my lip and he groaned.
“She is going to kill us,” he said, eyes flicking to Hunter.
“She might, but fuck if it won’t be death by orgasm. I’m okay with that,” his voice deeper than usual, sending shivers down my spine. We lost ourselves for a few minutes and I was ready for a replay of earlier.
The song switched to “Dude,” by Beenie Man and I chuckled when Zane and Ryder took Hunter and Gray’s place, dancing to the quicker tempo. Zane wrapped his hands in my hair and tugged my head back kissing me deeply and I moaned as his tongue teased mine.
“I don’t think I told you how sexy it is when you claim me in front of other people either.”
“You haven’t but you all better get used to it,” I responded. Both he and Ryder’s gruff laugh trailed over me. I was going to need several cold showers after this. Maybe not, I thought to myself when I felt them both growing hard against me.Fuck.A few songs later and I totally needed everyone to get out so I could do this dance without any clothes.
Yeah, that didn’t happen.
After everyone left, we took showers and settled ourselves downstairs for a little nightcap and some movies. We had nowhere to go and it wasn’t like we should be going out anyway, bunch of murdering winged people on the loose and all. Kalen and Xena were still doing rounds and I figured if I could still feel Xena then everything was fine.
I was sitting down, wrapped up in Remi, with her kissing my neck and making me giggle and Zane kept rolling his eyes. I laughed when I saw his face.
“Oh Zane, honey, sweetie, pumpkin pie drizzle, are you jealous?”
“What the fuck is a pumpkin drizzle? And no, I’m never jealous of anyone here, but I'll be lying if I said I didn’t want to be inside of you. Especially when I saw you in that bathing suit earlier,” he joked but his eyes were full of promise.
“What’s my pet name?!” Demanded Ryder, I rolled my eyes.
“I should call your ass woodpecker,” I laughed so hard I started to choke, and Remi started to tap my back.
“Fuck your mate against a tree one time…” he grumbled and smiled at me, grabbing me away from Remi, pulling me on to his lap, and giving me a kiss. I hugged him, cuddling into his arms. I sighed in contentment.
“One time is all it takes, but no, I always call you my jolly giant or my jokester. Grayson is a gentle giant, except he damn sure wasn’t gentle with my vagina, come to think of it. I think my gentle giant has a dark side.”
Ryder groaned and kissed the side of my head, and Grayson chuckled and grabbed me, pulling me into his lap. It was like a game of mate Hot Potato.
“Anyone else get a little chill when Ryder said mate?” Grayson asked. He looked down at me and kissed my forehead, his eyes swirling with so much emotion.
The guys and Remi nodded. I beamed at them. “I’m your mate, mate, mate, mate.”
“I always knew you were mine, princess. It was just all a matter of time, mate bond or not.” Zane gloated. I rolled my eyes, “By the way what’s my nickname? And Hunters?” I giggled nervously, they totally did not want to know Hunter’s nickname, they weren’t ready for that daddy bomb.
“I usually just call you ‘fuck em and leave em,’ but I actually really liked pumpkin pie drizzle, I’m going to have to stick with that one.” I nodded as if in deep thought and he growled.
“I will not be a drizzled dessert. It sounds like I’m a cheap hooker at a Walmart-themed strip club,” He grumbled. Everyone laughed. I walked over and straddled his lap, and he wrapped his arms around me, palming my ass. I sucked in a sharp breath.
“I’m disturbed that you think there would be a Walmart-themed strip club, yet oddly intrigued at twerking in the ice cream aisles,” I smiled. He shook his head at me with a smile.
“Or pole dancing in the disinfectant section, for obvious reasons,” chimed in Ryder. I chortled.
“Wait! Or lap dances by the cashiers,” I added, Ryder and I high-fived.
“Except in the self-service aisles…. well, that one is self-explanatory,” he added while laughing and I lost it. I leaned against Ryder and chuckled like a mad woman; they were keeping me in good spirits. I needed this normalcy for a little longer before letting it go. The weight of something about to go wrong was weighing omnipresent.
“Ohh ohh!! Guys!” I stood up and put my hands on my hips. They groaned at the look on my face, I’m sure. “Let’s have a dance off!” They groaned and Remi giggled.
“Count me out, but I’ll play judge!” Remi threw in. I flipped her off-guess I was going to win this shit for all the Fae-itches.
“The men first!” When no one jumped up and just stared, I pouted. Ryder rolled his eyes and got up and came to stand next to me in the middle of the living room. With no shirt, his muscles rippled even as he stood still with his arm crossed on his chest. His eyes were full of laughter. Ryder would probably do anything to make me laugh, I loved how they were all different. Hunter was what his name indicated, and he was brutal, then Grayson was the one you didn’t see coming. Zane though? I loved his intensity, like a general they all deferred to him, but while Grayson led with his brain, Zane led with his heart. They complimented each other well. Remi- she was passionate and a smart ass; a blue-haired version of me.
“Hudson? What’s wrong, I lost you there for a second. I’m supposed to be beating your ass at a dance competition,” Ryder teased, I smiled.
“Nothing just comparing my awesome mates.” I reached up and gave him a kiss.
