However, it’s our wedding rehearsal and they’ve all informed me that I need to dress for the occasion. Never mind tomorrow I’ll be in a damn tux.

Whatever. It’s not worth the fight. Especially not after the shower we just had.

Charlotte yells from downstairs. “Brynn is here!”

Of course she is. “I’ll be down in a minute!”

I head downstairs after I’m dressed, prepared for both women in the house to chastise me because I’m wearing jeans and not the damn pants Charlotte picked out.

When I get to the kitchen, my fiancée looks up at me and rolls her eyes. “I should’ve known.”

“I’m comfortable being the rancher.” I look to my sister, who is dressed up. “Besides, Brynn looks like she’s about to try out for a movie. Didn’t know we were going so dressy.”

“I’m not dressy, I look like someone who cares.”

I grin. “I care about after the wedding.”

She nearly gags. “Gross. You guys ready to go?”

“Yup.”

We head over to Addison’s house, where the barn we’re using is. It’s been completely cleaned out, thanks to my brothers and I. Addison has never used it for farming, which made it the perfect location. Grady and I laid a wooden floor, Asher worked on hanging lights up top, and Olivia supervised, letting us know when something wasn’t clean enough.

She’s really lucky I love her so much.

When we get inside, I hear Charlotte gasp. Since the last time I was here, it seems the girls got to work. They put tons of drapes or gauze-type stuff all around, and it went from being a decent looking barn, to somewhere someone would actually want to get married.

“This is stunning,” Charlotte says, moving deeper in.

“You’re happy?” I ask, never really knowing with this woman.

“I love it. The floor is amazing, you guys did so good.”

I preen. Damn right I did. “For you, baby, there’s nothing I wouldn’t lay for you.”

She laughs. “Half romantic, half dirty.”

“Me in a nutshell.”

Charlotte moves toward me, placing her hands on my chest. “And all mine.”

“Not yet,” I say, stepping back. “I still have time to change my mind. You might want to consider that.”

“Right. It’s you I’m worried about?” she scoffs.

“Oh my god, you two, can you stop for two minutes?” Brynn asks with exasperation. “We have to get through the ceremony and practice the changing of the room again. Can we proceed?”

I glare at my rather annoying sister. “Fine.”

She rolls her eyes, turns to Olivia, signs something that I can’t catch and then my niece walks over.

“What did your aunt say?” I ask aloud and sign.

“She said it is my job to watch you.”

I laugh once. “And she sent you?”

“I am not afraid of you.”
