He stood so closely behind her the heat of his body reached out to caress her skin.

Kelsey’s pulse sped. Her veins tingled with anticipation. Goose bumps broke out over her flesh, but she was far from cold.

“You don’t want me?”

Kelsey shook her head, biting down on her bottom lip.

He rested his palm between her neck and shoulder, and when their skin connected, Kelsey shivered, her traitorous body giving him what he wanted even as she fought so hard to withhold. Clenching her teeth, she tried to hold as still as possible. He ran his hand from her neck, down over her shoulder, then beneath her arm and down to her waist. His fingers tightened on her hip and he stepped closer, pushing the cool air away from her skin and replacing it with the hard heat of his body.

And itwashard. Deliciously hard in all the right places.

He released her hip and snaked his hand around to the front of her, pressing his palm against her stomach and spreading his fingers. His thumb rested at her belly button and his pinky straddled the top seam of her bikini bottoms.

He dipped his head between her ear and shoulder, pressing his nose against her throat, then breathed deeply at the base of her ear.

Kelsey drew in a shaky breath. Heat pooled low in her belly. Her skin broke out in a fresh wave of goose bumps. But she remained still. She wouldn’t give him what he wanted.

He’d have to take it from her.

And she really, really hoped he would.
