Her eyes narrowed in suspicion.

“About thekitchens, Kelsey.” He shook his head in mock disapproval.

She turned off her iPad, then stood and faced him, leaving little to the imagination. Dressed in nothing but a bright orange bikini and a white, sheer robe that was only loosely tied at her waist, Alex took in Kelsey’s body hungrily. She’d grown into womanhood quite nicely, with a slender waist and a soft fullness beneath her bellybutton, hips that swooped out then back in as they connected down to her strong legs. Her breasts were still small handfuls, and focusing on them brought a vivid memory to life in his mind.

A memory offinallykissing Kelsey Sutton in the shadows of the locker room after the senior year homecoming game against the Eastside Buckeyes.

She’d bet him that his team couldn’t beat the Buckeyes—their rivals. He’d wagered they could.

When they wiped the floor with the Buckeyes, forty-two-to-zip, he’d made good on their bet by asking Kelsey for the one thing he’d always wanted.

And, when he kissed her that night, and her body melted into his like kissing him had been the one thing she’d always wanted, he knew.

Her attitude was a front.

Her body told him what he’d always assumed.

And so, their game of cat and mouse continued.

A game that continued now. Again, her body told him more than her words ever could.
