“As if I give a fuck what your wife thinks,” Landon replied.

“When do I get to meet her?” Kane questioned, ignoring what Landon had just said about his wife.

“She’s always over here with or without me. You know how Makena is. She be dragging her all over the place. If you don’t see her before then, you’ll see her for grandma’s birthday dinner next month,” Landon answered.

“She must be special to make you settle down,” Kane said.

“You act like I was in the streets heavy or some shit. Unlike you and Aiden, I can’t just stick my dick in anything with a pussy,” Landon smirked.

“The fuck you mean nigga? I’m a happily married man,” Kane argued.

“Play dumb if you want to. Just because I don’t say shit don’t mean that I don’t know. I mind my business, but the streets talk,” Landon informed him.

“I ain’t about to sit here and tell you that I’ve never fucked up, but that was only during the first year or two of my marriage,” Kane swore.

“Alright bruh, if that’s your story, then stick to it. You don’t have to explain shit to me. I can walk down on you fucking another bitch and I won’t say shit. Ava probably won’t believe it anyway.” Landon shrugged.

“You know I love my wife but, shit, y’all ain’t the only ones who nerves she get on. I just need a break from that shit sometimes,” Kane admitted.

“No explanations needed,” Landon said as he raised his hands in surrender.

He and Kane stayed outside a little while longer until it was time for him to get Faryn from work. She had already said that she didn’t feel like cooking, so he planned to take her and his boys out for dinner and a movie.
