“We can do it in two months from now. Faryn will be seven months then. And I’ll respect y’all wishes and not make it too big,” Makena promised.
“Cool, just tell me how much it is and I got you,” Landon said.
“No Landon, I’m doing this all on my own. I don’t need any help,” Makena assured him.
“Are you sure?” he questioned.
“Yes, I’ll take care of everything. If there’s any special foods or anything that you want Faryn, just let me know,” Makena said.
“Okay, we just pulled up to my office, so I’ll call you later,” Faryn replied.
“Okay,” Makena said before they disconnected.
“You know you lost the bet, right?” Landon asked as he looked over at her.
“How? If I lost, then you did too. We were both right since it’s a boy and a girl. If I owe you a stack, then you owe me one too,” Faryn laughed.
“How about a car instead?” Landon asked.
“I already have a car that I’m still paying a note on,” Faryn noted.
“Not that lil toy car. We’re having two babies Faryn. Your Camaro is not gonna work.”
“Aww, but I love my car. That’s my first one,” Faryn whined.
“I’ll pay it off and you can keep it. You still need something bigger though, Faryn. Look at some SUV’s and let me know what you like. Remember, it’s gonna be the two of us and four kids most of the time. We need more room,” Landon said.
“Yeah, you’re right. I’ll look at something and we can talk more about it later,” she replied.
“I’ll see you at five. I love you, baby,” Landon said as he gave Faryn a kiss.
“I love you too,” Faryn replied as she got out of the car and wobbled into the office to get her day started.
