“Cum for me, Kensi,” I demanded.

“Nick, I–”

“Now,” I growled, smacking her ass. Her back arched and her head dipped back.

“Nick!” She screamed as she shattered all around me. Her heavenly sounds and tightness made my own orgasm erupt. My body tensed and I gripped the sheets as my warmth filled her. Never in all my life had I came so hard or fast.

“Fuck,” I gasped, trying to catch my breath.

“That was fun,” she giggled, making me chuckle.

“Next round will be longer…. I promise.”

Chapter Seven

KENSI

Something warm radiating against my face woke me from my deep sleep. I wasn’t ready to get up because, for the first time in years, I felt relaxed. My body didn’t feel like it’s usual ball of nerves and chaotic self. I felt rejuvenated.

Get your ass moving, Kensi,I scolded myself, when I still hadn’t moved after five minutes. I doubted Nick wanted a stranger – me – in his bed. He was probably playing possum and waiting for me to leave since ourfunwas over; not that I’d mind a round or two more.

“Are you waiting for me to go into the bathroom so you can make an escape?” Nick chuckled. He pulled me closer to his chest. I hadn’t even realized I was laying in his arms.

“What? No!” I laughed and opened my eyes. Nick was staring at me with a humorous look on his face.

“Just giving you a hard time, Beautiful,” he grinned.

“Mmhmm. I see how it is.” I stuck my tongue out. He laughed then stuck his out at me.

It was nice to see him so playful and down-to-Earth. At first glance, a person would mistake Nick as aBilly Badass. They’d think he was a hardcore city boy; however, that was far from the truth. Grant it, I hadn’t known him for a few hours; however, my gut instinct was rarely wrong.

“Did you sleep good?” he asked, rubbing my back.

“Like a baby,” I admitted with a smile. “What about you?”

“Surprisingly, I slept really well.”

“Why surprisingly?”

“Well… It’s just been a rough few months,” he shrugged but I knew he was downplaying his feelings. His eyes told on him.

“Well, not to toot my own horn, but if you ever need someone to talk to, I’m a pretty good listener,” I smiled brightly. It was my piss poor attempt to ease his mind and make him laugh.

“Toot. Toot,” he chuckled.

I playfully whacked his arm and frowned. It was hard to keep a straight face. How could any woman resist his charming good looks and sexy grin?

“You’re lucky you’re sexy, mister,” I teased.

“Oh yeah?” he grinned then kissed the tip of my nose. The simplest gesture yet it felt like a tsunami of emotions washed over me.

Nothing about Nick or the way I responded to him mentally or physically made sense. I knew I should be building walls to keep him out; however, something deep inside me was telling me not to. Now the question was: did I listen to logic or follow my heart?

“Deep in thought?” Nick asked softly. “Something wrong?”

I shook my head and smiled.

“No. Nothing at all.” A deep breath escaped me as I decided to just go with the moment. I leaned my head against his chest.
