“Leave me alone! I’ll be out in a minute.”
“Fine.”
It’s another fifteen minutes before she enters the bedroom, but she’s got some light makeup on, her hair braided, and a cute little pajama set on.
“I can see your ass cheeks hanging out of those shorts.”
“I know,” she says with a wiggle. “Come on. Let’s take a shot.”
“Maybe two.”
As I’m swallowing down my second shot, there’s a knock on the door.
Vic releases a low squeal before giving me a look. “You’re gonna be fine.”
“Just open the door.”
She scurries over as I try to appear casual, leaning against the kitchen counter. When I realize it may look weird that I’m just staring at the door, I busy myself by washing out the shot glasses.
The door opens and footsteps enter the apartment.
“Aiden, this is Oliver.”
As soon as I hear the name, my head snaps up. Oliver is a man.
Vic gives me a nervous looking smile.
“Hey, Aiden,” Oliver greets, not at all surprised that I’m a guy.
“Uhh. Hey.”
“Wanna sit on the couch?” Vic asks him, already escorting him there.
I make my way to the bedroom and stand there with my mouth open for a few seconds. “Hey, Vic?”
“Yeah?”
“Can you come here a sec?”
I hear her whisper before the sound of her footsteps get louder as she approaches the bedroom. When she walks in, I quickly close the door, taking care to keep it quiet.
“What the hell are you thinking?” I whisper yell, my eyes doubling in size.
“Oh,” she says, holding up a finger and looking at the door. “By the way, our third for tonight is a guy.”
I scoff, throwing my hands in the air. “A fucking dude? Why would you think you could spring a guy on me?”
She puts her hands on her hips. “Why would youassumeit was a girl? Why do straight dudes think women are interested in the same type of threesomes they are?”
“You’re not…you’re not straight! I am! Being with a girl isn’t going to be weird for you.”
“You don’t have to fuck him,” she says, her voice creeping into a yell. “You can both focus on me. I’ll be fine with that.”
I give her a look. “You knew what I was expecting, and you heard me continuously sayherandsheand didn’t think to say, ‘Oh, by the way, it’s ahe.’”
She bites on her lip. “I just did.” When I give her a look, she says, “Okay, fine. I’m sorry.”
“Well, what are we gonna do?”
