Do they already know?

“Maybe two and a half weeks ago, Vic and I had a threesome.”

“Wait, what?” Dame sputters.

Mason’s eyes go wide.

“Yeah.” I start nervously twisting the water bottle in my hands. “It was for her. Mostly. She wanted two…guys to be with at the same time.”

“Twoguys?” Mason questions, mouth hanging agape.

“It’s how I met Oliver.”

Their eyes go straight to him and he slips his hands in his back pockets and shrugs with a grin on his face.

“We didn’t do anything with each other, but we were very close…intimately. It pushed open a door I’ve been trying to hold closed for thirteen years.” I take a breath. “I’m bi and uhh…” I look to Oliver again. “We started hooking up.”

“We?” Dame asks, his head swiveling back and forth between me and Oliver. “You two?”

“I thought you got back with Chelsea,” Mason says, his eyes wide. “I wouldn’t have questioned you if I thought it meant forcing you to come out. I’m sorry, man.”

“No, no, it’s fine. I’m glad you guys know. I’m gonna tell Vic and then worry about the rest when I need to.”

“And you guys are…dating?” Dame asks.

I look at Oliver for some guidance and he steps forward. “Well, it’s very, very new. We haven’t discussed a whole lot of the details.”

“We’ll probably keep hooking up,” I say, making Oliver laugh. “And it may grow from there.”

There’s silence for a few seconds before Dame chuckles and says, “Well, okay.”

And just like that, I breathe a sigh of relief. I instantly text Vic and tell her to meet me at Nicola’s. I might as well get my coming out conversations done now so I can focus on what me and Oliver will be doing later.

Chapter Eleven

“Oh my gosh, I’m starving,” Vic says, staring at the pizza and trying to decide which slice to get. “I’ve been thinking about—”

“I’m bi,” I say, cutting her off, wanting it out there.

Her hands pause mid-air. “What?”

I start tearing pieces of my napkin off. “I’m bi. I’ve been trying to deny it since I was nine. When we had that threesome with Oliver, it really just made things undeniable.”

“Oh my god,” she exclaims, staring at me. “You’re for real.”

I nod. “Yeah. And the night of the party, when we went back to my house, we made out in the bathroom.”

“What the fuck?” Her eyes go wide. “Why the hell didn’t you tell me? Was he in there when I came to the door?”

“Uhh…maybe.”

She throws her rolled up straw wrapper at me. “Asshole.”

“And we kind of hooked up last night. And today.”

“Holy fucking shit. Aiden, my mind can’t handle this.” She narrows her eyes. “Although, I did say I was catching some vibes.”

“I know. It’s crazy, but I like him, and we’re gonna keep this going and see what happens.”
