She grins and snuggles back into Dameion’s arm.

“You going out?” Mason asks, eyeing my clothes.

“Yeah. I told Vic I’d stop by the bar.”

Technically, I told her I’d think about it, but I definitely don’t want to be the fifth wheel on date night tonight, so going out it is. Maybe I’ll findthe oneat the bar tonight.

“Tell her I said hi,” Jazz says.

“I will.”

I take a bottle of water from the fridge before walking out the front door and making my way to my car. I text Vic before I back out of the driveway.

Me:I’ll be there soon

Vic:Cool. I’m working on a third for our threesome.

Me:*Speeding*

Vic:Lol. You’re dumb. Be safe.

Chapter Two

When I get to Three Sheets, I go right up to the bar and spot one of the usual bartenders, Dominic.

“Hey, man.”

“What’s up?” he says, slightly inclining his head. “Back again, huh?”

“I’d prefer Toast,” I tell him, referring to the best bar in the town of South River. “But, you know, Vic had to work here.”

He chuckles. “Yeah, I’ve been told this is the third best bar in town. Sorry, man.”

I spin around, checking out the room. “Not a lot of options here.”

Dominic finishes making a drink and passes it to someone a few seats away before returning and starting on another.

“You and Vic are weird, man. Y’all hookup and then still look for other people to hookup with. She was just flirting with some guy earlier in the night.”

I shrug. “We’re cool with our situation. No feelings involved, plus we always use protection.”

Dom shakes his head. “Whatever works, I guess.”

“Iamtrying to find someone to be serious with.”

He snorts. “Since when? Vic was just telling me y’all are looking for someone to have a threesome with.”

My smile unfurls slowly. “I can want a relationship and a threesome simultaneously.”

Dominic laughs. “Okay, man.”

“Well, maybe I can have a threesome first and then look for someone to settle down with.”

Victoria walks in from the back with a smile on her face. “Hey. What’re you two talking about?”

“Settling down.”

“Threesomes.”
