“That’s it. Come on my cock.”

She pulsed around me, and it was all it took for me to reach my release. After I came, I collapsed, holding myself up best I could with my palms on each side of her body.My chest was heaving as I tried to catch my breath and kissed her on the lips.

“That was…” She looked away from me, but I could see the way she was blushing. “I don’t even know. I don’t think I knew what to expect.”

“I know what you mean,” I said from above her. I had the same thoughts, having imagined what it would be like for a while.

I pulled out of her, closing my eyes and sighing from the sensation, and she moved to get up. “Stay,” I told her as I disappeared around the corner into the master bathroom. I discarded the condom, quickly taking care of myself, then grabbed a washcloth from a basket on the counter, wetting it under warm water for her.

When I got back, she was lying there, still naked and absolutely stunning.

“What’s that for?” she asked, reaching for the towel. “For me?”

I nodded as I pulled it out of her reach. “Yes, but let me,” I said as I cleaned her up with the warm cloth. She closed her eyes as I wiped the towel along the soft pink flesh between her legs and sucked in a breath as though the action itself was enough to make her come again.

After I was finished, I put the towel aside and climbed into bed with her.

“I’ve thought about that—being with you—for so long,” she murmured, her eyes meeting mine.

“I have too. You have no idea for how long.”

“I’m sorry I didn’t say anything sooner. About my feelings for you.” Isa looked away, but I cupped her face with my hand, moving it back so she was facing me again.

“I’m a patient man, Honeybee. I would have waited for you for as long as it took.”

“Even if it had taken years?” Humor glinted in her gaze as she challenged me.

“I would have waited for you until I was old and gray if that’s what you needed.”

She laughed before kissing me. “I’m glad it didn’t take that long. I don’t know ifI’mthat patient.”

“I’m glad it didn’t take that long, too. You’re beautiful, you know?” I whispered in her ear as I interlaced her fingers with mine and kissed her forehead.

“Mm-hmm.” A sleepy murmur slipped from her lips as she cuddled up to me, never moving from her position on my chest the whole night.

CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN

Iwoke in a sleepy haze, a solid body against my back and a heavy arm draped over my shoulder.

“Good morning,” a groggy mumble escaped Reid’s lips.

“Morning.” I yawned, stretching one arm above me. My shoulder popped, the sound eliciting a concerned response from Reid.

“That sounded painful.” He rubbed my shoulder before planting a kiss on top of it.

“No, that happens all the time.” I giggled, reassuring him. “What’s the plan for today?”

“I don’t know. What do you want to do?”

“You should know better than to ask a girl to make a decision on plans, Cowboy.” I wasn’t completely indecisive, but I wasn’t exactly decisive either. Asking me what I wanted to do was like asking a girl what she wanted to eat for dinner.

“Well, I don’t care what we do.” He yawned as he sat up in the bed, my eyes catching his bare chest and toned muscles. “I’m just happy to be here with you.”

“We could walk around and do the first thing that catches our eye?” I suggested. “There’s so much to do here, it shouldn’t be hard to decide.” I thought for a moment, trying to recall everything we’d seen driving into the park yesterday.

“Breakfast,” we both said at the same time.
