"Damn, you're gorgeous." Crown smirked.
"How did you know we weren't inside his shop?" I asked, biting back a smile.
"You think you're the only one with an extra pair of eyes, Four?" He chuckled. "Don't worry 'bout how I know shit. Just know I always have eyes on you."
"Whatever!"
"Nah, don't whatever me. Tell your husband why he gotta keep eyes on you?"
"So, no other nigga can snatch me up," I joked but was the only one laughing.
"You joking like I don't got ARs, UZIs and a bunch of other shit you ain't ever heard of for any nigga whothinksabout snatching you. You love playin' like I won't scorch the earth behind you."
"Where would we live then?"
"It doesn't matter. As long as I have you, I'll build us a new home from the ashes of our enemies."
My heart stuttered. I believed he'd burn the world down to keep me at his side. What I believed even more was my hand being the one to pass him the matches.
"Look at your looney ass falling deeper in love with a nigga," he cooed, making my cheeks hike and my eyes squint. "Now tell a nigga why he gotta keep an eye on you."
My smile grew wider as the words he's said to me on more than one occasion came to mind.
"Because I'm Mrs. Gravehart even when I'm not."
"Ding muthafuckin' ding!" he screamed loudly. "Aye, say it one more time."
"I'm Mrs. Gravehart even when I'm not," I cooed.
"I gotta hear you moan it when I'm in that pretty pussy. Nah, don't moan that shit when I'm fucking you. Fuck around and push out three babies with twelve pairs of eyes."
"Twelve?"
"Yeah, Four. Our kids coming out of the womb with eye problems fucking with you. Don't trip, tho' I'ma have their baby glasses sterilized and ready to go."
"Fuck you, Crown!" I laughed.
"Shit, that's what I'm telling you not to do. You moaningI'm Mrs. Gravehart even when I'm notin that breathless ass tone and I'm shooting your womb up with triplets. Don't believe me, test it out."
"Whatever, Crown. Is that all? I want to go talk to Rook."
"Yeah, that's all. Don't think I forgot about you crying when I first called you. We can speak on that later. Text me when you're on your way home. I'll meet you at your crib unless you wanna come to mine."
"We can do your house," I told him.
"Ight, bet. Hit me later."
"Okay."
"I love you, Four," he expressed, making my heart flutter.
"I love you, too, Crown."
"Yeah, I'ma fuck around and give you triplets."
"Goodbye, Crown." I laughed and hung up.
I locked up Chosyn's car and took our phones into the auto body shop. Rook setting up shop across from the building his wife worked in was cute. I wouldn't say their marriage was goals because I didn't know what all went on in their relationship, but the longevity was something I aspired to have. Crown seemed like the type to always be there, but only time would tell.
