“Looks like it... It’s what? One in the afternoon there and you’re lying in bed?” She laughs.
I roll my eyes. “Late night.”
She wiggles her brows, “I bet.”
“Not like that!” I groan. “Okay, maybe a little.”
“What’s the band like? Are they hot? Have you seen their faces?” Her questions spew out.
“Oh God, how do I answer this? They’re... Interesting. I guess they're hot? And no. Well, just one of their faces, but only for a second and I have to swear not to leak a photo.”
“Jeez, sounds tedious.”
“I guess. They’re cool though, other than the lead singer. He’s a prick.” I tell her.
She grimaces, the lead singer is always her favorite. I usually like the guitarist. Granted, I'm more of a Taylor Swift fan, so any hot male on her crew.
“Just walked into work, so I have to go, but you need to call me. Do better!” She chastises.
I nod, “Yes, ma’am. Love you.”
“Love you.” She hangs up and I drop my phone on my bed, letting my head fall back.
After a long hot shower, I decide to wait for the guys on the bus. It gives me time to decompress, finally put some make up on and feel like a normal human again.
I’m starting my blog entry, getting something down for next week, when the door swings open.
“There she is!” Than sings, sinking down next to me.
I shut my laptop and smile.
“Hey sleepyheads.” I greet them, everyone except Khaos.
I didn’t forget his little stunt, though I wish I could.
“Well, don’t you look sexy?” Hypnos plops himself on my other side, throwing his arm over my shoulder.
I can tell it bothers Khaos that his band mates have fallen in like with me. They trust me when he doesn’t, and it kills him.
“It's all for you, baby.” I smile up at him.
The flirting is becoming easy with Hypnos, he’s fun and playful. It’s like a little splinter under Khaos’ skin, so I continue to entertain it, maybe take it a little further.
“I like that answer,” he nuzzles the side of my neck and I squeal.
“Jesus, get a room.” Khaos grumbles.
“Not a problem!” Hypnos lifts me up, wrapping my thighs around his waist, and hauls me to the bedroom in back.
He slams the door shut and tosses me on the mattress. I back myself up into a sitting position, kind of regretting everything up to this point.
He reads the look in my eyes and smiles, “Just wait.”
He mouths three... two... one... and the door swings back open, Khaos in a rage. He grips the back of Hypnos’ shirt and tugs him to the kitchen, leaving me there on the bed. The two are fighting again.
“Do you guys ever quit?” Than yells.
“It was a fucking joke, dude! Calm down.” Hypnos laughs.
