I decided to explore more of our new living quarters while she slept. There was another small room off to the side, which appeared to be a storage area, filled with supplies such as food, extra blankets and pillows. There was a large pile of furs placed neatly against one far wall, recognized instantly as fae-made pelts; warm and perfect for keeping us comfortable during chilly nights. Also, a chest that sat against the wall.

I sniffed the air and entered. There was no lock on the chest, so I opened it and inside found things I had not seen before.

Actual cocks and shafts in different colors, with no bodies!

I quickly shut the chest and stood, no longer interested in what else could be in there. I grabbed hold of my cock, backed away, and left the room, shutting the door quickly.

What sort of place was this?

We would not need the furs from this room. My furs would be fine. I grabbed a heavy chair, one that my miresa could not pick up on her own, and set it in front of the door.

No, she would never go in there.

Never!

Chapter Thirteen

Calliope

As soon as Iheard the rhythmic clicking of Simon’s hooves on the smooth stone floor, my eyes flew open. The sound echoed through the room, piercing the silence. I watched Simon’s sleepy movements as he made his way towards the bathroom, his hooves softly tapping against the hard surface.

He was potty trained, so I didn’t have to worry about taking him outside. It weirded out Dad, but let’s face it, Simon climbing down a tree in the middle of the night worried me, and justdropping poo from a tree on an unsuspecting animal or person would be downright disturbing.

Simon was smart, so teaching him to use the toilet was the right thing to do.

Simon stared at the closed bathroom door and tilted his head to look back at me.

When we first wandered into the main room of the cave, I knew this place was built as a guest house for the palace. I’d been here once before when I was younger, and it looked almost exactly the same. They sealed it a few years later, after Melina complained she would rather have people come stay with her.

Simon huffed in annoyance seeing the door was shut. “I don’t know, buddy, maybe Valpar is in there. Remember, he gets grumpy when he’s constipated.”

Simon huffed and we walked around the room. If I remembered correctly, there was a door that led deeper into the unfurnished parts of the cave. Simon could wander around back there and maybe find a corner to go in. He would just have to be like a regular goat.

As we ventured deeper into the cave, our eyes fell upon the colossal door, its hinges encrusted with rust and burdened by its weight. With a strained effort, I tugged at its handle, and the door emitted a mournful groan. A gentle gust of wind whispered through the opening, sending shivers down my spine as my dress fluttered in the cold air.

“What do you think? Can you do your business in there?” Simon sniffed and walked in. I kept the door open so he could return, but he trotted down the cave toward a light at the far end of the winding passage, which suggested there was moonlight somewhere in there.

I shrugged my shoulders, left the door cracked so he could return and headed back into the main room of the cave. That was when I heard a grunt coming from the bathroom.

Oh, maybe he ate too much meat.

I’d heard Uncle Osirus talk about orcs eating a ton of meat and not enough veggies, when they come to these balls. He always had to ask the dragon shifters to bring in the cows and steers from up in the mountains. The big boar over the fire must be an animal they caught on the way up here.

Another groan came from the bathroom, but this time, a whisper of my name was there.

Is he thinking about me while he’s pooping?

I tiptoed closer to the door and leaned my ear against it. There was movement on the other side, grunts and heavy breathing.

That must be one big—

“Calliope. Yes,” he growled lowly.

I stood up straight and put my hand to my chest.

Oh, oh! He was not pooping, but doing the nasty in the bathroom.

And he didn’t invite me!
