“As much as I don’t like pixies, Dewdrop is fine,” Thorn said and put his hand on Ellie’s shoulder. “She’s saved Ellie from an ogre once, so she’s alright in my book.”

I regarded the pixie, and my miresa patted my forearm. “It’s okay. Just because there was one bad pixie doesn’t mean they are all bad. Just like, if there is one terrible human it doesn’t mean we are all bad.”

She meant her life-giver. The sweetest gift given to me was born of a terrible woman. I sighed and released my hold. I pressed a tender kiss to her bruised shoulder, where I liked to continually mark her skin.

“I used to be able to understand them,” my miresa said. “Just like Uncle Osirus.” Ellie smiled and nodded.

“You could?” Ellie asks animatedly. “That’s amazing. Do they sound just like us?”

She nodded happily. “They do. They are different, though. Their culture and everything, they act—like a hive, almost. They need to be around more of their kind—all the time. The one that Valpar is referring to was Karma—who got his karma.” She snorted. “I think he was sort of a loner. I didn’t see him hanging out with a lot of the other pixies. I wonder if they shunned him a little bit, and that was why he turned out the way he did. We will never know.”

I huffed and ran my claws through my miresa’s hair. “He still had a choice,” I said. “He didn’t have to be the horse-dropping he was.”

“You mean flying glitter turd.” My miresa corrected me.

He was made into a terrible ale. It was sweet as fuck I had to pour it out. My Orgamo spat it back in my face and cursed me for days.

Suddenly, Kiah reached out and grabbed a chunk of my miresa’s hair.

My miresa giggled, took another lock of her hair and tickled the orcling’s stomach. “Am I not paying enough attention to the baby?” she cooed, again. “Does the baby need all the attention?”

I let out a low growl and my hands balled into fists, again. I should not be jealous of an orcling. It was a tiny green blob that could not do anything.

“You are such a little man! I bet you are going to be knocking over some saplings soon, stomping through the forest and pounding on your chest. Be the next big orc—”

I snarled and ripped my miresa away from the orcling, and from my brother and his female. Ellie gasped and the baby reached out, waving his hands for my female.

“Mine.” I gritted my teeth and threw her over my shoulder.

Kiah let off his own little growl and Thorn let out a bark of laughter. “What’s wrong, jealous of an orcling?” He raised his brow and wrapped his arm around his family.

I roared at the couple and Thorn laughed more. I disliked how he laughed. He thought his orcling had won because my female thought him cute. That green blob cannot even wipe himself. His ogamie had to wipe his ass.

I stomped off into the forest, leaving our things by the fire. My female was going to know that she belonged to me, and she would not talk to any male, even if was a green blob.

“Valpar, what are you doing?” She giggled and slapped my butt when he got deeper into the forest. I stopped and my back straightened.

“Did you just slap my backside?”

She took her hand and rubbed it, patting it gently. “You were acting naughty in front of your brother and Ellie. You needed a spankin’.”

Moon Fairy, grant me patience.

I slid her down my body so my shaft lined up with her belly and she could feel my length. I pinned her against the dragon-scale tree, a tree that would not move, too strong for me to rip down. Her eyes widened in shock and her hands grasped my chest for support.

“Why, hello there?” She bit her lip. “I haven’t seen your little orc in about two hours.”

“Calliope, this isn’t a game. That little male was trying to—”

“To what, Valpar?” My female narrowed her eyes at me. “Tried to claim me? It’s a baby, it’s barely a month old! It did no such thing.”

My clenched fist soared above her head, colliding forcefully with the sturdy trunk of the tree. The impact reverberated through the air, causing a cascade of delicate petals and vibrantleaves to descend. The gentle rustling and tumbling of nature’s shower fell around us.

“Don’t be foolish. He looked at me when he grabbed your hair. He was challenging me.”

My female rolled her lips into her mouth and tried not to smile. I growled and pushed my shaft harder into her stomach.

“My poor orc,” she finally said, and her fingers ran through my scalp. An involuntary purr rumbled through my chest, and I closed my eyes as I felt her get closer to that special spot. My spine tickled with anticipation as she got closer. “What can your female do to make it better?” She leaned closer and pulled my head closer to her lips. “Do you need to rut me, claim me right here, and show your dominance?”
