Page 107 of Valpar

Valpar didn’t know what love means, my Godmother told me, and it was a word I’d be happy to tell him once this chase was over with.

Another fun fact my Godmother elaborated on was that orcs loved to chase, just like any other animal in the Bergarian Realm. Now that I knew Valpar had really, really been holding back, I could unleashthe Calliope.

It was the only way he could let out his frustration. He couldn’t hit trees forever and we couldn’t be doing the horizontal limbo every ten minutes. We could start a fire down there. He just needed a good roughing up, as Godmother said.

Somehow, I don’t think a one-time chase will calm him down.

As my feet sank into the cool, rushing stream, the water splashed around me, creating a symphony of tiny droplets ontothe rocks. In the distance, his mighty roar reached my ears sending shivers down my spine.

Despite Valpar’s colossal size, there were no thunderous footsteps echoing through the dense forest. He moved with grace, like a silent predator. I couldn’t help but feel a mixture of awe and fear. This towering figure was not only massive, but also possessed the cunning of a seasoned hunter and warrior. I knew fully that he would outwit me before I even realized it, leaving me with no chance for escape.

And then, my panties were damp.

I darted to the right, trying to find a tree I could climb. He couldn’t be that great at climbing. There’s no way. I found the first one with a low enough branch and took my first step. The whisps helped me and I felt the wind blow up my dress.

I climbed higher and higher until I felt a warm hand grasp my ankle.

Aw, bummer, that wasn’t a long chase.

“How did you find—” I turned around and look down to see Miss Sprinkle Tits pulling at my leg. “Ugh, what do you want, Ivy?” I scowled. “I’m busy.”

“Did you chase off your orc friend with your nasty human puss? Looks like he didn’t even mark you!”

Trees in the distance shook and I ground my teeth. I didn’t want Valpar to win so easily, I wanted him to hunt a little more.

“No, I like to play hard to get. Something you wouldn’t know about,” I snapped.

The whisps fell below me, gathered around Ivy and pulled at her hair. They bonked her on the head and she turned back into her smaller form. They dragged her off, wailing and screaming. I grunted in annoyance because, now she’d given away my location.

Valpar jumped from the bushes, his chest heaving and his eyes wild. His hair was a mess and his body looked like it wasvibrating with pent-up energy. I could see the smooshed flower petals on his arms and the smears of dirt on his face, evidence of his long angry run through the forest. His gaze locked onto mine, a mixture of determination and something else I couldn’t quite decipher.

I could see the frustration in his eyes, the desire to finally catch me after I had eluded him. But there was something else there too, a glint of amusement, a spark of challenge that mirrored my own.

Valpar was not just a mindless beast; he was a warrior with a keen intellect and a playful spirit that matched my own. Even if he didn’t want me to see it.

“Calliope,” he growled, his voice low and guttural. “You thought you could evade me forever, little one?

I clung to the branch, trying to maintain a composed facade even though my heart raced at the sight of him. Valpar was a formidable orc, tall and powerful, with an air of primal strength.

As he stood below me, his muscular frame and intense gaze, I couldn’t help but feel a thrill of excitement run through me. This chase had been fun, but this party was about to get real.

“You are quick on your feet, Calliope,” Valpar rumbled, his voice deep and gravelly. “But this time, there will be no escape for you.”

“I was just testing your hunting skills,” I retorted, my voice wavering slightly despite my best efforts to sound defiant. “Can’t let you get rusty now, can we?”

He let out a rumbling laugh that echoed through the forest, causing the birds to take flight in a flurry of feathers. His eyes gleamed with a fierce light as he put his foot on the large root of the tree.

“You may be quick, little one,” he said, as I felt his warm breath near my leg, “but I am quicker.”

With a smirk playing on his lips, Valpar crouched down and then leaped up with a surprising agility for someone of his size. His hand closed around my ankle before I could move higher into the tree, and he pulled me easily, catching me before I fell.

I twisted and turned in his grasp, and he fell backward. I used all my agility to slip out of his hold. I landed gracefully on the forest floor on top of him. I could see the determination in Valpar’s eyes intensify. He was enjoying this game as much as I was.

“I got you,” he snarled as he sat up his nose landing into my neck.

“Not yet!” I sang and wiggled from his hold.

Unlike an orc, I had become sweaty, a slight sheen coating my skin. I wiggled down his stomach because his come was already coating between his thighs. He grunted and tried to grab me, but I slipped free and rolled on the ground next to him.
