My phone started ringing with an alarm, reminding me that I still hadn’t done my homework. I swiped it off and sighed. “I have to go. I still haven’t done the English essay.”
“The one due tomorrow?”
I grimaced at the reminder. I’d been procrastinating on starting it all week, and now it was staring me in the face.
“That’s the one. I’ll talk to you later, okay?”
“Yeah, see you later.”
I hung up the call but still didn’t turn to my computer for my work yet.
