A laugh rumbles in his throat, and happiness soars through my chest. My arms tighten around him, hugging him closer.

“You’re so perfect. Everything you do makes me happy.” He kisses the side of my neck, and I glow under his sweet words.

Carefully pulling out, he lowers me to my feet. I’m in front of him, and he strokes my hair away from my face, gazing deep into my eyes with so much affection.

His thumbs trace my cheeks, and I blink quickly. I startle myself as I almost start to cry.

Dropping my chin forward, I swallow that back.Holy shit, talk about too much too fast.

Yes, I’ve been dying for him for at least three years, but just because he’s mine right now doesn’t mean I can say it.

“Hey.” His voice is quiet, and he gives me a nudge.

Clearing my throat, I manage a smile as I look up at him. “Yep?”

“Me too.” Leaning forward once more, he kisses my forehead, the tip of my nose, my lips, slowly, gently. “Me too, sweet Allie.”

Stepping back, I look down at my bare legs. “I’m a mess.”

He looks around the room filled with books and boxes and tape and pens and Post-its. “Is there anything?”

“Oh!” I step around a corner to where several unopened boxes of tissues are stacked.

“Yes.” He takes a box from me, opening it quickly and pulling out several.

Then he drops to his knees, carefully cleaning my thighs. Emotion clogs my throat again, but I quickly swallow it away. He leans forward to kiss the side of my hip, pressing his face against my stomach and inhaling deeply.

My fingers thread in his thick, dark hair. Strong arms go around my legs, and he holds me several quiet moments. I never want to leave this place, but I’ve lost all track of time.

Bending down, I kiss the top of his ear. “I hate this, but I have to get back to the library.”

He releases me and rises slowly, tracing his fingers over my ear. A hint of a smile curls his full lips, and his pretty blue eyes hold mine.

“Soon, my sweet Allie.”

“Not your dirty little secret?” My eyebrow arches, and I’m feeling a little more in control.

“Maybe it won’t be a secret.” He kisses my lips once more. “But we’ll always be dirty.”

A laugh hiccups in my throat, and I nod. “I can do that.”

Holding my hand, he opens the door, peeking out. “Coast is clear.”

“Go ahead.” I nod. “I’ve got to repair my hair and check my lipstick.

He looks back at me, reaching out to slide his thumb over my chin, under my bottom lip. “Perfect.”

Another wash of happiness fills my stomach, and I hold his hand briefly before he disappears, leaving me glowing and so satisfied.

“Is it straight?”Rachel is on a step stool on one side of the room with Liv on the other.

I’m standing at the back of the room, watching as they raise a sign that readsCongratulations, Dylan & Logan!

“Up a little on the right.” I motion to Liv’s side, and she raises it. “Perfect!”

Two thumbs up, and I scurry to the kitchen again where Craig is running interference with Dylan while we throw together decorations for the big night.

I’ve been floating on a cloud the past two weeks, starting with Austin back on the field winning games and looking so good, followed by my sexy encounters with Coach Jack.
