“Would you like dessert in ten minutes?”

“No. Fuck off. You’re done for the night. Leave.”

Sorry, sweetheart, I don’t have nice in me for this jackass.

“Where should I–”

“I don’t fucking care. Just leave. Now!”

“Yes sir.”

His retreating footsteps bring me peace.

“That wasn’t very nice. What if I wanted dessert?” My sweet girl teases.

I pause, torn. I don’t want her to miss out on something, but I don’t think I can wait any longer to be inside her again.

She smirks. My spitfire as always.

“I thought I already gave you dessert,” I say, flashing her a cocky grin.

She laughs. I want to bottle the sound.

I tighten her legs around my waist and pull her off the table, her arms winding around my neck.

“Now,” I whisper, carrying her back inside, “I need to show my sweet girl just how much I love her.”

Chapter 67

Margot

When we reach our room, Matty sets me gently on the edge of the bed.

He steps back and kneels, lifting my right foot to his knee and removing my shoe. Then the left. He rises and steps closer again, guiding my arms with soft touches. He peels off my shirt, then unclasps my bra. His movements aren’t rushed. Nothing like the frenzy we just came from.

When I’m bare, he stares at my breasts in awe. He holds their weight in his palms reverently.

Needing to see him, I lean forward and slide off his jacket, then unfasten the top button of his shirt. When he realizes what I’m doing, he steps closer, letting me undress him slowly.

We take our time. No words. Just looks. Just touches. Each layer removed with care. Each breath shared.

We’re fully exposed to one another, not only our bodies bared, but also our feelings, laid at each other’s feet. Nothing hidden. No barriers. I can see his soul, and it’s calling to mine.

He lifts me, and I wrap around him instinctively. He climbs onto the bed and lays me down, my head resting on our pillows.

Then he kisses me tenderly. I can taste his love.

I open for him.

He breaks the kiss only to ease himself inside me. He sets a gentle rhythm, and I match it, our bodies moving together like they’ve always belonged.

There’s no urgency. No rush. Only reverence.

It’s never been like this before. He touches me like I’m sacred. Worships my body as if I’m his altar. Like I’m the most precious thing in his world. And all the while, he stares into my eyes, making wordless promises I believe with every beat of my heart.

The only forever I’ve ever dared believe in.
