“Stealing from the Caselli family is wild, bro’,” Beans added his commentary, as I continued to bash his fingers in, sending skin and blood everywhere.
When I got the call that Korbin told one of the Case House girls that he wasn’t leaving, I allowed it to rock because I wantedto handle it. I knew my brother was capable, but I didn’t want to add more onto his plate. Not when he trusted me to step up and handle family business. I told them I would handle it the minute I touched back down in New York.
“I didn’t steal… I didn’t steal!” he hollered out, as he held his battered hand.
“Sitting up in this bitch for a week eating our food, using our water, and electricity… that’s stealing, bitch!” I grunted as I pulled my leg back and kicked his ass in the mouth, sending pieces of his teeth flying out of his mouth as he passed out.
Grabbing my gun, I cocked it back and emptied the shit in his chest and then sat it back down on the counter. “Get somebody to clean this shit up. Push your dates to the townhouse in Manhattan,” I told them, as I grabbed my jacket.
As quick as I arrived, I headed out, getting back into my truck and going to my next location. Beans got in on the other side, as I wiped the blood from my hand, and used the club soda in the back to get the blood out of my shirt.
“You fucking handled that shit.”
I continued to get the blood out of my shirt. “Reason I couldn’t stay longer with Pooh is because of his stupid ass.”
“Def could have used an extra day or two chilling with Grizzle.”
“Ask her ass out already… the fuck is this you both doing?” I pulled my laptop out the bag beside me and logged in, checking a few emails and making sure accounts were properly being cushioned with even more money.
Whenever I looked into the accounts, I felt like Neo inThe Matrixwith all the numbers floating around. The amount of money that entered the accounts in an hour and kept accumulating… it was impossible for us to go broke, even if we tried.
“Patience, nigga. I’m not trying to be on her like that… she’s fragile from her last relationship and got a lot of trust issues because of that. I want to be her friend before anything… I think I could fuck around and marry her, Don.”
“Word?”
“Greene… her fucking mind is amazing. I enjoy her personality and the fact that I have something to talk to her about. Usually, I be feeding bitches anything because pussy is the end game for me. Not with her. I have full ass conversations with her, and she be having a nigga thinking.”
I smiled at him. “They come from a good ass family. Pooh got me wanting to change that last name.”
“Serious?”
“Our future may have played out in my mind a few times. B, I don’t like being away from her, and that has never been me.”
“You be putting bitches out in the middle of the night.”
“Facts. With her, I could see us having a life together… just chilling and traveling the world.”
Beans gave me a look. “You know what comes with that.”
“Yeah.”
“Gotta let her in. Mrs. C doesn’t know the ins and outs, but she does know some shit. She knows about Case House and the majority of what Menace has the Caselli name into.”
“Letting somebody all the way in scares the shit out of me.” I closed my laptop, as we neared our destination.
Beans shrugged. “Can’t have forever without honesty. She don’t need to know everything, but if you thinking of marriage, she should know what her last name means.”
As soon as we pulled in front of the building, I spotted Duke and another security, as they followed behind Menace into the building. He wore a fitted Tom Ford suit, and his hands gripped a file in his hand, as Jeffie walked beside him.
He held the door open for her, following behind her as security fell in behind him. “Ready for this?”
Ken: We need to talk… don’t do this.
I ignored the text message, like I had been doing. Kennedy thought she had me in her palms because she knew I cared. The minute you showed me you didn’t give a fuck, I could show you how much I really never gave a fuck.
Jett came around the truck and opened the door for me, and I climbed out. Checking my gun that was in my holster under my suit jacket, I headed inside. Beans followed behind me as we avoided the security and metal detectors and headed straight to the elevators. Pressing the top floor, we leaned back and allowed the elevator to take us to the desired floor.
“How you feeling?”
