I rubbed a hand over my face and then looked around. We were in a huge cavern, lit by a phosphorescent growth on the stone. It threw a surprising amount of light. “Where are we?”

The Dragon had retreated a short distance away and crouched on the gravel, staring off into the water. Now he rolled a huge eye at me.

“Cave.”

“I can freking see it’s a cave,” I growled.

“Rinalka realm. Trentillas mountain ranges,” he growled back.

He curled a lip. “We’re surrounded bys crystals deposits. So, no.”
