Page 70 of Shattering Nash

Nash had given in to temptation and knew one time was not enough. Had this been a few years ago, he wouldn’t have even considered anything more with a woman. But the Kings had proved things were changing in the Underground. They could have women in their lives.

Hell, Rogue is married. No one would’ve seen that coming.

It wasn’t to say there wouldn’t be obstacles. As far as Charley knew, he worked at a club. The truth was much darker, and he wasn’t sure if she’d be able to handle it, let alone accept it. Nash tabled those thoughts when he saw her come down the stairs and slowly make her way to the kitchen. She was dressed in a T-shirt and what looked like men’s boxers.Fucking adorable.

“Morning.” She smiled, stopping a few feet away. She brushed her hair away from her eyes, tucking a chunk behind her ear. She wasn’t the same brazen girl begging him to take her harder from last night. He expected her to retreat again. Her shyness wasn’t something she could turn off. It was a part of her. Still, he’d try to coax her out of it.

“Come here.”

Charley rounded the counter, taking her time. Too slow for Nash. He stalked toward her, wrapped his arm around her waist, and hoisted her ass onto the counter. He gripped her thighs, spreading them apart and allowing him space between them. He cupped her jaw with both hands, forcing her to look at him.

“Getting shy on me?”

She slowly shook her head, but her eyes were cautious.

“I fuck you on this counter, you gonna beg me to do it harder?”

A pink blush spread across her cheeks at the same time a spark lit in her eyes.

“Yeah?” He asked.

“Probably.” Her breathy moan sent him over the edge.

He grasped her hips, bringing them in line with his cock. Two layers of clothing separating them. Nash grabbed the hem of her shirt, prepared to rip it off her. Spreading her out on the counter was his only desire.

In the worst interruption possible, his phone vibrated against the counter. Nash pulled away from her lips, but her hand tightened over his jaw, forcing him back to her mouth. Charley looped her arms over his shoulders, pulling him closer.

Nash gave in to her, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her against his body. Her breathy moan had him forgetting about the vibrating buzz in the background. Momentarily. When the ringing stopped, he dipped his tongue between her lips, tasting her.Fuck!

They had to stop before breakfast turned into dinner. He broke the kiss, lightly tapped her ass, and lifted his chin to the opposite side of the counter.

“I’m free until the evening. And since I know you don’t have to work, what would you like to do?”

Her eyes widened, and she seemed genuinely surprised. “You want to have like a date?”

Nash controlled his features. It had been a long time since anything he’d done with a woman could be considered a date. But Charley was unlike most women he’d been with.

“Yes.”

When the corner of her mouth curled, and her eyes gleamed, he knew exactly what she wanted to do. “Can we go on your motorcycle again?”

“Yes. But first I’ll make us something to eat.”

“You’re going to cook? For me?”

He glanced over. She hadn’t moved and was staring with disbelief. He had the distinct feeling it had been a long time since anyone had taken care of her.

“Do you want eggs and bacon or pancakes and sausage?”

Her eyes widened. “Um…whatever you want to make.”

Nash braced his arms on the counter. Her gaze immediately filtered over his biceps. “I want to make whatever you want to eat.”

She blushed. “Pancakes are my favorite.”

Mine too.Nash worked around his kitchen. Unlike others who had private chefs, he did all his own cooking, and if his schedule allowed, it was most days. Growing up with his father, he learned quickly if he wanted to eat, he’d have to make it himself.

As much as he enjoyed the comfortable silence with Charley, he found himself wanting to know more about her. Everything.
