A voice pierced her thoughts.

“Earth to Lucy!”

“Oh, I’m sorry.”She blinked, trying to cover her confusion.“What were you saying?”

“I was asking when the tradesman was coming to look after your roof.”

“Oh.Um ...I contacted the guy from Up Top Roofing.He gave me a few dates when he could start so I could choose.Um ...I think I told you that,” she said, still flustered that she’d been lost in her thoughts.She hoped neither of them guessed what she’d been daydreaming about.Trying to get her mind back on track, she told them a little more.“The outcome is that he’ll do it the week after next.My daughter said she’d be able to drop over if they need someone on site while I was at work.”

They chattered on about the roof and Lucy was able to pull her attention back to what they were saying rather than what she was thinking, albeit with difficulty.When they finally left the restaurant, she gave a soft sigh of relief.That was short lived as Sebastian put his arm around her waist from one side and Jack did the same on the other.

Immediately, she felt a rush of warmth to her nether regions and her heart raced.Lucy tried to concentrate on walking, on the conversation, but overwhelming her was her own desire for these two men.Never in her life had she been so aroused, so focused on what was possibly about to happen.

“Want to go for a wander around the shops, Lucy?”Sebastian glanced down at her.He must have read something in her face as he continued softly, “Or shall we take you home and introduce you to some of the delights of being with two men?”

Now tongue-tied, Lucy couldn’t answer Sebastian at all, not even a croak escaped.

He laughed and peeped at Jack across her body.“Let’s go back to her house.I think we should discuss whatever crops up.”

A man walking by stared at Jack in surprise as he roared with laughter in response to Sebastian’s remark.Their arms tightened around her waist as they steered her back to the car.When Sebastian opened the door for her, he leaned in and pulled her seat belt across, his hand brushing across her breasts.

She exhaled noisily.

The trip back to her house was abnormally quiet.It appeared everyone was on tenterhooks, as if they all knew this was it.Lucy wondered how she would react.Was this really going to be the start of something special, or would she find that she just couldn’t handle it?

In no time at all, they were back at her front door.Sebastian took her key from her shaking hand and unlocked the door.The three of them walked back down through the hall and into the family room.

“Come, Lucy, sit down and try to relax.”Sebastian pulled her down onto his lap.It seemed he was always trying to get her to calm herself.

Jack sat alongside and lifted her legs onto his knees.

Sebastian looked at Jack and then at Lucy.“We’ll just sit here and chat.There’s plenty of time.You told us your mother ran a B&B.Did she always run it?”

Lucy shook her head, more to clear it from her sexy imaginings than anything.“No, it was after my father died.I guess she was feeling lost.I think I was about twenty when she started it.It was after I left home.”

“How did she react to having a granddaughter?”

“Not good at first.I mean, she loved Allison, but she knew I’d made a big mistake by getting pregnant then married.But you know she never said ‘I told you so’, never criticized me.She offered to let Allison and me come back home when I divorced, but I wanted to make a life for us.Prove I could do it.Sometimes I think maybe it would have been better for Allison if I had, but it’s too late to worry about might-have-beens now.”

“Yep, doesn’t do to dwell on the past.It’s been and gone.Time to start thinking about the here and now.”

All the time Lucy had been talking, she was conscious of both men.Jack’s hands were massaging her feet, occasionally running up to her knees.Sebastian’s breath felt warm against the skin of her neck each time he spoke.At that moment, Sebastian could have said ‘strip and suck Jack’ and Lucy would have done it in a heartbeat.

Unknowingly she gave a huge sigh.

“What is it, Lucy?”

“I ...I can’t concentrate.”

“Why?”

His soft words tingled against her ear.

A shudder rippled down her side as she turned her head slightly to look at him then at Jack.“You two.”

The grin Jack gave her was so sexy, so delicious.Lucy’s body reacted from her head down to her groin.
