“Sorry, I need to go.”

“Okay, I get it. But can you just hear me out with this one thing?”

A click, and then the dial tone, is my answer.

Today we honored a cherished member of the Balanced With Bethany family. It’s so hard to say goodbye to someone who was so passionate about the I LUV ME method and this journey we’re on together, but we found peace in knowing he would have been proud of the way we took care of our bodies and showed love to ourselves this morning!

Comment “PEACE” below if you want to show yourself some love next Tuesday!

Bethany, I just need to tell you how much you’ve helped me on my own cancer journey. Every day, I’m showing myself that I LUV ME, so my body knows to keep fighting. And I know good news is coming for me at my next scan Thank you for everything you do for us!

“You all right, Maves?”

I made it as far as the front door before collapsing in the entryway, to Polly’s delight. She lay down right next to me and has been snoring her Hickory Smoked Chicken–flavored dog-food breath in my face for…well, I don’t know how long it’s been. But I’m not sure my body would move even if I told it to.

“Do you know there’s a hole in the back of your leggings?” my dad continues with his interrogation. “Did you leave the house like that?”

Yes, I left the house in questionable leggings. But Ialsobroke into Dom’s shed and discovered the truth about Cole’s career and sordid past and then stumbled upon another suspect in his murder who may not even be on the detectives’ radar yet!

I can’t actually tell him all that, though. Because then it’ll end up on his podcast, and if Detective De La Rosa doesn’t already think I’m a joke now, hedefinitelywill when my theories show up on aLaw & Order-recap-turned-true-crime podcast with twelve listeners on an especially good week.

“Is something wrong with you and Corey?”
