Page 18 of Distorted Obsession

Fuck.

My balls seize up—a familiar sensation shooting up my spine. Then, I slam my hips forward until Portia’s nose bumps against my pelvic bone, and my nuts slap against her chin.

Finally—freedom.

Ripping my dick from her mouth, I peer down as I roar out my release, shooting my cum all over her face and the bed.

Once my breathing evens and my vision clears, I watch my brother smack Portia’s ass before he pushes her face into the cum-stained sheets.

Smirking, I turn, head for the bathroom, and hop in the shower to get cleaned up.

Classes begin in two days, and I can’t wait. The next part of the plan is already in motion, and the fourth part—he’llbe over later.

Grabbing my washcloth, I pour my body wash onto it and lather my body as I mentally check everything off my list. Thursday is going to be amazing. Cooper and I will blend into the crowd, but I also have cameras everywhere to ensure we don’t miss a thing. I’m a little bummed Eva won’t know until it’s too late.

Callum and his sister owe us, and we want that payment in blood. If we have to live without a sister and my parents have to live without a daughter, then the same fate will rock the Pierce family’s world—irrevocably changing life as they’ve known it, just as ours has.

Farrah’s birthday is tomorrow. She should’ve been turning nineteen, but she’ll forever be sixteen.

She’ll never graduate high school or earn her history degree—she’ll never get to live out her dreams of working at the Smithsonian and traveling the world, and we’ll never get to tell her we love her one last time and hear it back.

I clench my teeth, rinsing the soap off my body before washing my hair.

Rah always wanted to spend five years living on every continent. She planned to take a gap year initially and travel with Eva—fucking Eva Rose Pierce.

The same Eva who switched her major from art to history. The very same person who missed herbest friend’sfuneral. The girl who showed up at our door crumpled at my parents’ feet as she cried and sniffled her shit apologies while still refusing to answer where she was.

“Colt … Colt,” my brother’s worried shout snaps me back into the present. He knows. I’ll spiral, and it will take weeks, if not months, before I function.

“I’m getting out,” I reply, staring down at my blood-stained knuckles and up to the remnants of my actions running down the drain. My brain just now registering that I was punching the shower tiles.

When I leave the steaming shower, Cooper stands in his sweats, leaning against the sink.

“We’ll make sure she pays, Colt. Eva and her brother. They don’t get to go on living when she no longer has that option.”

“It won’t bring her back. None of it will, and I think that part pisses me off most. We’ll get vengeance for her because she’ll?—”

He shakes his head. “I know, and for that, we’ll bury the Pierce Princess in an unmarked grave.”

I nod, and he stands, exiting the bathroom.

Portia is sitting on the couch, fully dressed, when I enter my bedroom fifteen minutes later. She must’ve showered in one of the guest rooms. Her lips look like she ate peanuts and had an allergic reaction.

Blazing hazel eyes stare at me. “You could’ve killed me, Colt?—”

Portia snaps her mouth shut. She hasn’t earned the right to call me that. None of my fucks ever will.

“But you didn’t. So, who gives a fuck,” Cooper says, striding into the room also freshly showered.

“And even if you did die, I’d give less than those fucks. Just remember the plan,” I sneer. “Now get the fuck out.”

Portia doesn’t argue. She darts off the couch and out of the room.

Needing an outlet for all this rage, I mutter, “I’m going to the gym.” Then, I leave before he can respond.

The ref’s voice blares through the television speakers as Coop, Eli, Stef, Liam, the new guy on the team, and I watch footage from our football scrimmage last week. Liam catches the ball and runs it in for a touchdown. He’s fucking fast—his agility and football acumen makes him a formidable force and a great addition to our team.

But his athleticism isn’t the only reason I’m paying attention. Liam and his brother, Mason, have their own ax to grind against the Pierce family, and who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth when the present is nicely tied with a red bow.
