Reaching between us, he grabs the base of the condom and pulls out, then gets off the bed. He takes off the condom and ties it, then wraps it in tissue sitting on the bedside table and tosses it in the garbage.
“Do you have another one?” I ask as he looks through his wallet.
“Fuck. I don’t. Let me see if Schuster has some in this drawer.” He pulls the drawer open and rustles through it. “Got it!”
I sit up and scoot over to give him room on the bed. He liesnext to me and pulls me to him, setting the unopened condom on his stomach. “Come here.”
Everything that comes out of this man’s mouth sounds sexy. He’s got this husky, deep voice with a Southern accent. No wonder girls fall at his feet all around campus.
My head is resting on his chest, and I listen to his heart, strong and steady. This man just commanded and owned my body. But his fingers, now strumming along my back, are soft. Almost too tender. A girl could get ideas from a move like that.
I tilt my head up and kiss his jaw first before propping myself onto my elbow to lean over him. “What do you say, cowboy? You up”—I pause and look down at his dick—“for a ride?”
He barks out a laugh and pulls me in for a kiss. “Giddyup, darlin’.”
CHAPTER
TWO
ARCHIE
Nothing is better than a win.Well, nah, wait. Pussy is better than a win. But tonight … I got the win, andI’m going to get the pussy. Or I hope to anyway. Ever since that night after our first game, I haven’t been able to find Emma. I should have asked for her last name, but I’m a certifiable idiot.
When she left that night, I didn’t think I’d be feeling her the way I was the next morning and the morning after that. It’s been almost four weeks, and I still wouldn’t mind seeing her again.
There’s another party at Chris Schuster and Dan Smith’s house, the same house we met at, so I’m really hoping to see her there. That girl done rocked my world.
I drop the towel from my waist and get my jeans from the dresser drawer, pulling them on. Am I going to put boxers on? Nope. I like to let my balls roam free after a game. Besides, I don’t plan to have the jeans on for long if Emma is there.
I grab a pair of socks from another drawer, then move to my closet and take a T-shirt from a hanger. I put the shirt on, then walk over to my bed and sit down to put my socks on. My bootsare sitting next to the bed, so I reach over to grab them and slide them on.
I’m a Texas boy through and through. I love football and my family—especially my mom. Not saying I’m a mama’s boy though. I just love the shit out of that woman. She’s put up with six rowdy athletic boys while my dad worked our family ranch.
With one last look in the mirror, I run my hand through my wavy blond hair, spray one puff of my Nautica Voyage on my neck, and walk out my bedroom door and down the hall.
“Pitzy,” I yell.
Liam Pitz is one of my roommates and the starting quarterback. We’ve been living together since our freshman year. I have a feeling this year is going to be tough on him though. Our rookie QB is gunning to start, and honestly, he’s damn good.
We have two other roommates.
Beckham Linson, who’s also become a good friend. I took him under my wing, so to speak, when he came to Walker last year. Kid’s wicked talented, and he will definitely make it pro.
Casey King is the other, and he and Beckham grew up together. He’s a chill guy and easy to hang with.
Oh, and plot twist … his twin sister, Charlie, moved in with us because her housing fell apart. Not only is she King’s sister, but she’s also Linson’s ex-girlfriend. He still has a thing for her though, so I love fucking with him. I flirt with her just to get under his skin. It’s fuckin’ funny.
I find Pitz in the kitchen, eating something over the sink. “Dude, just get a plate. That’s gross.”
“Nah, I’m good,” he says while shoving another bite of pizza in his mouth.
“You comin’ out with me tonight?” I ask with a nod of my head toward the door. “I think I’ll head over to Schuster and Smith’s again.”
Pitz looks over at me and grins.
“What, asshole?”
“Dude, I see you. You’re going to look for that girl again, aren’t you?” He laughs.
