“Mmhmm…needed this. Ached for this for years.”
He knew that, and it hurt his soul, but he was here now. He wouldn’t apologize again. At least not now, while they were making love. No, he was just going to give Sebastian as much pleasure as he could.
He wanted to make Bastian fly.
Bastian moaned, and Colton pressed his thumb into Bastian’s slit, pushing him to come, wanting to see his beautiful face when he did.
It didn’t take much—two hard strokes and Bastian was shooting for him. He got what he wanted, and he held on until Bastian stopped shaking, and then he came hard, wishing he was filling more than the condom as his knot wedged tight.
When his omega was ready, he told himself. Not a second before.
“I can hear you thinking,” Sebastian said, head on his shoulder, when their breathing had stopped coming in gasps.
“I was just thinking how much I love you,” Colton murmured. “I never stopped.”
“I—Please, don’t say it if you don’t mean it. Please.”
He tilted Sebastian’s chin up, their gazes clashing. “I’ve never lied to you, Sebastian. And I don’t intend to start now.”
Those pretty eyes filled with tears. “I’m so scared.”
“Hey. Hey, no. If it’s me, we’ll take it at your pace, and I’ll prove it to you. If it’s the house…”
“Is that why you haven’t done your overnight at the house. Because you’re taking it slow to be with me?”
“Guilty.”
“You don’t have to do that.” Bastian met his eyes, held his gaze. “I’d let you stay for a while…”
“Yeah?” He tried not to let that run away with him. “I’ll call Gent and clear my schedule for a bit. I hadn’t let him put anything too close to this anyway. I wasn’t sure how I’d be doing after this trip.”
“Getting to know your daughter. Getting to know me.” Bastian licked his lips. “Maybe…getting to know Hot Springs Junction?”
“I would love that.” Colton pulled Bastian up for a kiss. “Especially you and Abby. But I’m happy to let the town know I’m not always an asshole. Sometimes, sure, but not all the time.”
“Not all the time. Do you think the ghosts will understand?”
“I hope so.” He sighed. “First we have to figure out why they’re so agitated.”
“So, let’s stop stalling.”
Colton had to laugh. “Okay, baby. I told you. You get to drive. We’ll set up the overnight.”
“Not tonight. Tonight, I want this.” Bastian gave him a sweet little grin. “Tonight, I want you.”
“That’s good, Sebastian. You have all of that you want. I promise.”
And dessert. They might have to order dessert.
Chapter

“Daddy? Daddy, why sleeps wif Papa Colton?”
Abby came barreling in, Iago standing there with a blush.
“She needed you, you know?” Iago whispered. “I took her to go potty, though.”
