While Nasseem hasn’t responded to the allegations publicly, insiders say the tension between the brothers has reached a boiling point. Egypt, who has spent the last few years rebranding herself as a serious actor and recording artist, might not be too eager to have her rising star tied to a scandal involving possible legal drama and family beef gone sour.
And let’s not act like this is the first time a couple from this friend group imploded under pressure. (Need we remind y’all of that infamous debacle involving Royal and Averi St. Claire only last year or the whole Creed, Serenity and JailahMiller love triangle). This is what I mean when I say this is a toxic group of friends, just messy.
Egypt hasn’t made a public statement, but a source close to the couple tells us “she’s heartbroken but doing what she needs to do for her peace.” And listen—we get it.
She’s got a show under her belt, an album on the way, a growing fanbase and potential endorsement deals on the table. This is the kind of heat most girls in her lane dream of. Getting tangled in your man’s mess? Not a part of the promo rollout.
We’re rooting for them. We really are. But if this is the end of Egypt & Nasseem? We saw the fireworks. We saw the chemistry. And if you ask us? It was a beautiful disaster.
Anyway, stay messy, Lipstick Confidential
As always, they were loud and wrong. But also…not entirely off.
I knew this wasn’t good. My fight was comin’ up, and with all the Nate shit already haunting me, now my name was back on the blogs forthis?I needed to get ahead of this. But all I could think about was Egypt.
I drove over to her house in the hills. Pulled up slow, heart poundin’ like a drumline. The lights were out. No car. No noise. Just the crickets in the trees and the sound of me breathin’ heavy. I knew she had one of them Ring doorbells, so I made sure it caught me. I stepped close and looked dead into it.
“E, baby…” I said, voice low. “I know I fucked up. I know you probably don’t wanna hear nothin’ I gotta say, but I’m sorry. I mean it. Please…talk to me.”
I waited, hoped and prayed but nothin’. Just a blinking blue light.
Fuck my life.
Back in the car, I sat there for a few minutes trying to figure out my next move. I ain’t had many options. But I knew who would.
I called Averi. She picked up, sounding annoyed like she already knew what was comin’. “Nas, what?”
“Averi. Please. Just tell me where she at. I ain’t tryna cause no more drama—I just need to talk to her.”
“Sorry, can’t help you,” she said flatly. “Not sure what you did exactly, and honestly? I don’t wanna know because whatever it is, I ain’t never seen my friend this mad before. So, if I did know where she was, I definitely wouldn’t tell your ass.”
“Averi, come on?—”
“I said what I said,” she snapped. “And don’t call me again lookin’ for her. I’m not telling you nothing. I’m team Egypt on this Nasseem. I love you, but I love her more.”
Click.
The line went dead. I clenched the wheel, forehead pressed against it, breathing hard. I was losing my shit. So, I did the only other thing I could think of. I popped up on Creed.
He was at the Clippers facility, working out like he always did when he needed to think. I told the front desk I was family and they let me through without hesitation.
He looked up from the bench press when I walked in, eyebrows creased with confusion. “What’s up, nigga?”
I nodded. “We need to talk.” He wiped his face with a towel and motioned for me to follow him to the back hallway where it was quiet. I leaned against the wall, hands in my pockets. “I fucked up, again.”
Creed raised a brow. “With Egypt?”
I nodded, the words catchin’ in my throat. “Yeah. She pregnant.”
He blinked. “Damn, word?”
“And I told her to get rid of it.”
Creed froze; his head cocked to the side as if he was trying to figure out if I really said what he thought I said. “You what?”
“Look, I was mad. I was scared and I was caught off guard. I said it without thinkin’. I told her now wasn’t the right time and she needed to…you know.”
Creed dropped his towel. “Nigga. Are you dumb?” I flinched. “No, I’m really fuckin’ asking Nasseem. Are you fuckin’ stupid?”
