The slashing sounds of Cherokee wading in let him know he had lost the little bit of control he’d had while fucking the man, and soon he was feeling the drops hit him as Cherokee waded deeper.

“We can’t swim here!”

“I know this lake better than anyone. Not over ten feet deep and it’s safe all around the lake.”

He was plunged into the icy cold water, and he came back up, shivering and snarling. “How dare you!”

Then Cherokee took him into his strong arms and Jovian got so warm so quickly, he felt like melting. “Better?”

“I’m still in smelly fish piss, but…yeah. Better.”

“Good. Now, we’ll get washed up a little and then…well, I’m taking you back to the cabin. You have classes besides mine tomorrow.”

“Boating safety. I don’t like boats unless they’re yachts.”

“You’ve been on a yacht?”

“No, but…I’m sure I’d like them.”

Cherokee’s laugh felt like it was echoing off all the hills, and Jovian snuggled in this chest. “Baby boy, tomorrow night, I’ll bring to you to the house. Okay?”

“Okay.”

“You don’t mind not going tonight?”

“Of course, I mind, but I understand. I have a lot going tomorrow, and I will need an extra long shower after…this.”

“Okay. Well, let’s get you home.”

At the outer edge of the camp, he was kissed deeply before Cherokee bid him goodbye. He floated back to the cabin to see everyone already asleep.

He thought he’d lie in the bunk for hours, just thinking about Cherokee, but he surprisingly fell to sleep right away and woke refreshed.

Everyone was gone to breakfast, and Jovian discovered he was starving. He dressed and stuck Mike’s cap on his head, unwilling to have his hair seen before he’d washed it and readied it to be seen.

In the Mess Hall, Alan, Kathy and Mike were sitting together, laughing, and he joined them. “What’s funny?”

They were shocked to see him so early. “Well, what has you up with the birds, and in my hat?” Mike asked, laughing.

“I woke up with my stomach growling. That is an unwanted noise coming from me, so I’m eating before I shower.”

“How was your date?” Kathy asked.

“It was perfect. The guy is totally into me,” he bragged.

They ate, and yes, they gossiped. One of the other campers was also having a love affair, and three people had accidentally walked in on them in the woods.

“Who?” Jovian demanded.

“That Bradley Parsons and Luke Bennington.”

“Luke…I know him, but who is Parsons?”

“Tall dude in Cabin B.”

Jovian remembered him. He wasn’t just tall; he was extraordinarily tall. “Isn’t he like almost seven feet?”

“That’s the one. And Luke, well, he’s kinda tiny, like you, Jovian. Opposites attract in this camp,” Mike said.
