“THAT’S ALL I HAVE FORyou today, folks,” Dr. Kaufman announces, dismissing us. “Hope you have your umbrellas. It’s supposed to rain.”
Natalie looks over at me, frowning as if I was the one who decided the forecast. “I didn’t see that on my weather app.”
I grin at her. Of course she has a weather app. Ever prepared Natalie. “We’ll have to wing it then.” I sling my arm over her shoulder as we exit the building, the sky full of dark, gray clouds, heavy with rain.
“You have an appointment with Heather tonight, right?” With any other girl, I’d find it concerning that she knows my schedule better than I do, but at least I know that it’s not just me. She has every trainer’s bookings, every group fitness class, every meeting, every time anyone so much as sneezes scheduled out in that mental calendar of hers.
“Yep. But I’ve got a bit of time before then to hang out if you want.”
“I-” She looks up at the sky, a fat raindrop plopping down right in the middle of her forehead. “Not again. Why does it always rain when I don’t have my umbrella with me?”
“Come on.” I grab her hand and sprint over to the closest building, where math classes are mostly held, but there are no doors along the exterior on this side. I spot a small alcove and tuck us away just as it begins to pour. There’s barely enough space for her, let alone me, her back pressed against the brick wall as I crowd her in. “Sorry, there’s no room-”
She sets her hand over my mouth, silencing me. “You don’t have to be sorry.” She wedges her backpack out from behind her, dropping it on the ground, then brings her hands up to my shoulders, sliding the straps of my own bag down my arms and past my hands to join hers. Something about it feels like a disrobing with the solemn expression on her face, eyes raking me up and down.
The rain picks up in intensity, gusts of wind bringing cold sprays of water our way. I do my best to block her from it, hiding her completely from view with my body. Not that anyone else is out in this torrent.
Even though the back of me is freezing, I’m heated all the way through with Natalie cushioned against my front, her warm body thawing me out.
“You make a good shelter,” she murmurs, head tilted to look up at me. “You’re so tall.”
I know better than to tell her she’s just that short, opting to stay silent instead.
“And your shoulders are so broad.” She runs her hands over that area again, lingering this time, spreading warmth everywhere she touches. I shudder when she lowers her palms down my chest and over my abs, exploring my body. I close my eyes, bracing my hands on the wall on either side of her head, savoring her touch. I’m not sure what brought this on, but I’ll never ask her to take her hands off me.
The rain is nearly deafening at this point, the two of us in our own private cocoon as sheets of water shield us. I lower my face into the crook of her neck, inhaling her sweetness, my breath catching when she lifts the hem of my shirt. It’s the first time she’s touched my bare skin there, my mind racing to figure out a way I can keep her hands there always.
When her fingers tiptoe up my abs and tease at my nipples I clench my fists, wanting with all my being to let my hands roam over her too, but knowing it’ll be all over if I do. I won’t be able to hold back. I’ll take her right here against the side of the building, in plain sight of anyone else crazy enough to be out here.
“Where were you going to touch me last night?” she whispers, her thumbs circling.
“Here.” I press my lower half into her, nestling my already hard dick against her core. Relief hits me at the contact, but also ratchets the desire higher, the urge to grind against her overwhelming.
She solves the problem for me, though, thrusting her hips forward, her hands out from under my shirt and tugging my head down to her mouth, our tongues instantly meeting.
