Corbin frowned. “Good. She’s in the last room.”

“What?” Before I could stop myself, I shoved him up against thewall.

His eyes widened, clearly as shocked as I was that neither of ussaw it coming.

“Tell me she’s in there by herself,” I said, my voice low. Buteven though I had a hold of him, I saw the cut in his lip and the bruisestarting to form around his eye.

“I didn’t have a choice. I may be big as fuck but when a gun ispointed at a coworker’s head, I listen.” Corbin shoved me off of him, straightening out his white t-shirt. “And you did not just put your hands onme.”

“She’s my girlfriend,” I said, ignoring his last comment.

His eyes widened even more. “Shit, I didn’t know.” Instead ofwaiting for me to ask, he walked back down the hall from where he had comefrom. “His boys were adamant that he wanted her even though she doesn’t danceanymore. I don’t know what the fuck is going on or why this shit is only juststarting now but if you don’t kill him, I will for causing me stress.”

I followed Corbin, needing to know who the fuck was in that roomwith her.

Corbin stopped and turned to me. “If you kill him, please justclean up the mess.”

“If that happens...” I chuckled. “You’ll never know.”

Ididn’t like being in such a small room with Will but when he had come to theclub with a couple of friends, I didn’t want any issues. I had played nice, agreeing to listen to whatever he had to say but when his guys distractedsecurity, Will grabbed me and dragged me to a room.

“Open the door or I’ll kill him,” Will demanded, holding a gunto the temple of one of the newer security guards.

Corbin tried fighting two of the guys closest to him but theyapparently were prepared. One guy punched Corbin, knocking him back andgrabbing the young security guard I knew as Tim.

Tim struggled in the arms of the big fucker but as the gunlifted to his head, he stopped.

My chest constricted. “Will, please. You need to stop this. Youcan’t do this here. There are cameras everywhere.”

“Yeah, you see, Princess, I don’t give a shit about that.” Willnodded once.

The man holding Tim, forced him to his knees.

“You have two seconds, Corbin.” Will scratched his chin, waiting.

Corbin didn’t even hesitate and unlocked one of the privaterooms. He looked at me, mouthed that he was sorry and stepped aside.

I never blamed Corbin though. He was only trying to keep hispeople safe.

“You look good,” Will told me, his eyes roaming down the lengthof me.

“You need to stop this.” I went to walk past him when he caughtme around the waist and pulled me against him. “Let go of me,” I cried, struggling in his arms.

“I heard you paid a visit to the clubhouse when you went to seeyour mom.”

My back stiffened. “How do you know that?” I didn’t like thateven though Will was no longer part of the club, he still heard things.

“People chat, Princess. You know that.”

“Stop calling me that. I am not your Princess.” Aaron called meit. So because he did, Will felt the need to continue it after his brotherdied. But Will turned it into something more. Something worse. All of the guysstarted calling me that and Will sat back and acted all damn proud over it. Itwas fucked.Hewas fucked.

“You are definitely my Princess.” Will spun me around and pushedme up against the wall.

Bile rose to my throat at being this close to him.
