She giggles. “I’ll let you use them on me as payback.”

“Fuck,” I whisper. “How much longer until we can sneak out of here?”

“Maybe an hour?”

“Too long.” I look around at Lottie’s friends and realize they’ve all moved on, studiously avoiding us while we’ve been talking. “Go to your bedroom and wait for me.”

“They’re going to know.”

“I don’t care. Do you?”

Lottie

With a long, lingering look at Teddy, I slip out from under his arm. Gia catches my gaze before I can slink away. She winks at me and then nods her head to the stairs.

My blush deepens as I go up the stairs, but then I hear Gia.

“Ryan, hook up your phone to the speaker and turn it up loud. I feel like dancing.”

God, I couldn’t love her more.

As I race to my bedroom, an idea comes to mind.
