I opened my eyes and blinked a few times, not believing what I saw in front of me. A loud gasp escaped from my throat, and I turned to Thane in disbelief.
“No way.”
“Yes way.”
“No way. How? I mean…what?”
Thane grinned as he threaded his arm through mine and gently ushered me towards the newly constructed building. A large sign on the front readAmara’s Flower Shopwith a smaller sign beneath it that saidComing Soon!
“How? How is this possible?” I exclaimed as he walked me through the front door. The frame was up, the walls coming together with panels of sheetrock. It was exactly like how I showed him, my vision come to life.
I let go of his arm and ran around the place in absolute delight. “Oh my God, Thane! I can’t believe this!”
“Now you see why I was so busy. I wanted to at least get the bare bones done before I brought you here. I needed the vision to come to life first.”
I shook my head, still in shock that I was even here. In my own flower shop. That he built me. On his land. Land I didn’t have to purchase. How could I ever repay him?
Thane wrapped his arms around me from behind and rested his chin on my shoulder. “Move in with me, Amara. This shop is all yours. You can open your business and live out your dreams. Together. With me.”
More tears streamed down my cheeks, these ones only from happiness and nothing else. “How? How is this real life?”
“Sometimes we need to be a little patient, before it all works out in the end.” Thane said before pulling me in for another one of his mind-blowing kisses.
I’d never get enough of his sweet lips.
CHAPTER SIX
Thane
Amara gother affairs in order back home and moved in with me a week later.
I hired a few more guys as my company kept expanding and I wanted to focus my time on finishing my girl’s flower shop so she could bring it to life and start her business here.
All my time and energy went into finishing her flower shop and when the day finally came to bring in the painters and the HVAC guys, the finish line was now in sight.
Tomorrow, a delivery of refrigeration units will be installed for all her fresh flowers, and we can begin laying down the floor, bringing in furniture, and any other odds and ends needing finishing. Then, Amara can come in and begin decorating and setting up shop however she’d like. She already discussed the color theme she wanted and had laid out all her design ideas for me.
I loved them all.
Her eyes sparkled and shined whenever she talked about her shop and even while now living here in Appleridge with me, shestill continued to get orders on a daily basis. With her small set up in one of my spare rooms upstairs, she fulfilled order after order without ever once complaining about the lack of space. I couldn’t wait to finally give her what she’s wanted, what she’s needed, for so long.
“It’s all coming together now.” Amara clapped her hands together as she walked around her shop, her face beaming with happiness. “Ahhh! Soon I’ll be fulfilling orders and helping walk in customers! Hopefully, I’ll grow and grow and need to hire other florists to help.”
I laughed, admiring her adorable cuteness. “I have no doubts you’ll reach all of your goals, sweetheart.”
“I couldn’t have done it without you.” Amara slid her arms around my neck and kissed me softly.
“Nope, you definitely couldn’t have.” I smirked and she pinched my ass, causing me to yelp out loud.
One of the painters looked over and I wanted to evaporate into thin air. Instead, I lifted into my arms and threw her over my shoulder, giving her sexy ass a gently slap.
“Thane! Thane!” Amara laughed as she grabbed onto the backs of my legs. “All of my blood’s rushing to my head!”
I walked her outside and placed her down in front of my truck. “The painter saw you pinch my ass.”
Amara giggled uncontrollably, her face beat red. “Oh my God, that’s hilarious.”
“Glad you find it amusing. Now if you don’t mind, get in my truck. I’m taking you home. You’re my lunch today.” I slapped her ass once more and nipped at her neck.
