That damned ominous click I’d come to know so well sounded behind me. I turned around as a box on the floor opened. I pressed my lips together and approached it, prying the lid back.

My eyes widened. “Really?”

I didn’t get a reply, but that was answer enough.

Inside the box, there was only one item.

A single heavy, wooden paddle with the wordsubmitburned into the flat side, and part of a tire with rough grooves and dips on the other side.

I pulled it out and turned the paddle over, shaking my head as I inspected it. It felt wrong to even be holding it. I was never the one who wielded a paddle unless it was for Greg, but even then it was rare.

I was a sub, not a Dom.

But…

If I were spanking someone at the command of my Dom, that was a different story. We contained multitudes, and my multitudes involved pleasing my Dom however he wanted, even if that meant putting someone else on their knees.

It wasn’t for me, it was for him.

And I liked being a useful tool.

“Do you want me to use this?” I asked.

“Yes. Greg, get on your knees next to Hawk.”

The tension in the room thickened. Greg slid from his chair to his knees next to Hawk. I carried the paddle to them, studying them next to each other. Greg and Hawk were both insanely handsome, butdifferentkinds of handsome. Where Greg was smooth, Hawk was rough. Both had dark hair, but Greg’s was streaked with gray at the sideburns. It gave him such a silver fox look, despite the fact that he was one of the most submissive men I’d ever known. Helovedgetting on his knees, whereas Hawk hated it.

Hawk was used to being the one holding the paddle.

“How does it feel?” I asked with a smirk.

“It feels like I'm going to be reminding you who's on top later.”

I grinned, unable to hold back my amusement. We all knew that at the end of the day, Hawk would always Dom me.

Which was why this brought me so much joy.

Becausealsoat the end of the day, we hadoneDom we all listened to.

“You can remind me,” I said. “Once we escape this damn place. Ash has us all trapped right now, so I’m unfortunately at his mercy and have to do whatever he asks me to do to you.”

“Sounfortunate,” Ash’s booming voice snickered.

Hawk glowered. “When I get my hands on you…”

“You can jack me off,” Ash finished. “Keep going. All of you.”

I waved the paddle at Greg, earning a look of pure adoration.

“You look really damn good,” Greg said. “Especially holding that paddle.”

I shook my head. “You're unbelievable, you know that? I still can't believe you have just been here the whole time getting off while I've been…”

“Getting off?” he countered. My husband smirked, raising a brow. “I saw everything you did with those twostrangers. Every single thing. All tosaveme, right?”

“Yes. All to save my loving husband.”

“Such a good effort, too,” he chimed.
