“And I plan on doing it all.”

My heart was beating in my chest but even louder between my legs.

We climbed out of the rental car and headed into the hotel. Without thinking about it, I reached out and intertwined my fingers with his. He squeezed my hand and led me to the elevator bank. We rode to his floor sharing kisses and flirtatious comments. When the door opened, we were still in our own little world.

“You’re ten minutes late, K,” Eli grumbled as he entered the elevator. He had clearly been waiting in the hallway for us to get back.

I didn’t feel like it was the right time to say hello, so I just stepped back and let the men talk.

“That’s my bad. I apologize for that,” Kwame apologized, handing him the car keys. “But I filled it up on the way back from lunch so you should be good.”

Eli broke out into a big, goofy grin. “And this is why I can’t stay mad at you, K! You’re too perfect.” He shifted his gaze to me. “It’s good to see you again, Aisha. Even though you’ve stolen my boy for the weekend, I’ve decided to forgive you since my night is looking like it’s about to get reeeeeeeal interesting.”

“It’s good to see you again even though you keep saying stuff that makes me cringe,” I retorted.

He chuckled and then his eyebrows shot up. “I see that in only a few hours, this thing with you and Aisha went fromthat’s my tutor from collegetothat’s bae.”

“Don’t say bae,” Kwame and I said in unison.

The three of us cracked up.

“Kim and Kami posted on social media that they were going to the concert with bae,” Eli bragged. “I’m bae!”

“This is the first time anyone has ever called you that?” Kwame asked.

“Nah, but it was the first time two of them called me that at the same time—knowingly. You know what that means right?” He only gave us a millisecond to guess. “Threesome!”

As the doors opened for us to leave the elevator, it was clear that the fifty-something blonde woman waiting was drunk and heard Eli’s big mouth.

The men let me out and then gestured for her to enter before they stepped out of it.

“You have a winning combination for a threesome, honey,” she called out to me. “They know how to let a woman go first!”

My jaw dropped. The elevator doors closed before I could respond, not that I even knew how to respond to that.

“What the hell?” I yelped in amused confusion.

“Well…” Eli saddled up next to me. “If I didn’t think Kwame would kick my ass, I—”

“Eli,” Kwame interjected. “It’s in your best interest to not finish that sentence.”

“Hold it!” Eli stopped in his tracks. “No way! You two are hooking up for real?!” He looked between us with a mixture of disbelief and amusement. “And you said you weren’t hooking up on business trips anymore and look at you! You and I aren’t as different as you think.”

“Don’t compare what I have going on with Aisha with what you have going on with them.” He pointed to the main entrance.

As if they were in a music video, Kim and Kami were scantily clad and walking through the lobby in slow motion.

Truly, they were walking slow as fuck.

“Have a good time,” I told Eli as he openly drooled over the two women.

“Oh, I will,” he replied with the kind of open lust that most people tried to contain. “I’ll see you two tomorrow.” He bit his fist. “Or Monday.”

“Aight, man.” Kwame slipped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me into him. “Enjoy yourself, but don’t forget that we have to be at HU by eight-thirty in the morning on Monday.”

He winked at us. “I should have my energy back by then.”

“You are wild,” Kwame commented under his breath just as we met up with Eli’s dates.
