Bea leaned in. “And in fifteen minutes, it’s the audience interaction part, so you definitely want to participate in that.”
I cringed, ready to ask for an explanation, but they were already descending the stairs. Dom and I were both quiet as we watched Bea and Leo get on stage with the rest of the naked cast in the first scene. Bea and Leo weren’t decorated in leaves and flowers like the others, but true to the rumors I’d heard about this place, everyone really was nude.
“This is some shit I never thought I’d see in my lifetime,” Dom whispered. “And if you weren’t here with me, I would have already pushed that security guard to the side and left this shit.”
I glanced to the guard, then back to Dom. Dom had him in spades, so I asked, “Why didn’t you push him aside and ask me to leave with you?”
Dom shrugged. “I don’t want to distract all these folks who are really here to see the show.” His mouth parted and he tilted his head to the side when a woman began ascending from the ceiling on an aerial silk. “I mean how does that—”
“Not burn her vagina,” I finished. “I have no clue.” The lady did a few more moves before several others joined her. “I got to say, though, it’s pretty impressive.”
Dom nodded, his eyes venturing to the stage again. “Bea and Leo are in costume now.”
“I see. They have a few leaves covering the important parts,” I pointed out, stifling a laugh. “I can’t even believe I’m a little entertained watching this right now.”
“It’s kind of addictive.” Dom kept blinking like he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. “If I told my brothers what I was watching, I’d never hear the end of it.”
Not before long, Dom and I grew quiet, and surprisingly, I started to get used to the nudity. We even began sinking deeper into our chairs and he didn’t seem as stiff as before.
A part of me had forgotten Bea’s warning until everyone on stage started making out and rolling around. On cue, members of the audience began kissing, too, lots doing even more than that as some straddled laps while others chose to get on the floor.
Shit.Yeah, I asked Dom to kiss me when we first met, but this situation wasn’t one that either of us had seen ourselves in earlier tonight. However, there was something strangely seductive about watching everyone, the energy in the room electric in the most unexpected way.
I turned to him at the same time he turned to me, waiting for any warning bells that this was a bad idea, but not hearing one. I’d bet money that he’d just gotten a fresh cut because his beard was low and neat in a way that made me want to touch it to see if it was real.
His eyes dropped to my lips, and on its own accord, my tongue moistened them, already wanting whatever he was willing to offer.
“It seems we keep finding ourselves in compromising situations,” he muttered, one hand gently brushing over the nape of my neck, while the other one rested over my thigh.
“We do,” I agreed. “But I’m game for whatever you’re game for. I mean, we are at a nude play after all.”
He clenched his jaw. “That we are.” Slowly, he began to lower his head, and I thought he would kiss me right away, but he didn’t. The music playing in the background symbolized that of wild animals running through a jungle. Mixed with the sounds of pleasure from the stage and the audience, my nerves were standing on end.
I lifted myself to straddle him at the same time that he reached to help me out of my seat. Dom wasn’t small, and neither was I, but the way we fit in that chair with his hands gripping my ass to keep me up had me not giving a fuck if we were venturing into unchartered territory. The bar had just been a taste of how good we could be in bed. Yet, as my lips touched his and his thumb began kneading circles in my ass cheeks, all thoughts ceased as I lived in the moment.
Dom wasn’t quiet, either. His groans were the only sound in my ears after a while, playing its own song for me and me alone. We kept on kissing, familiarizing ourselves with each other’s taste. Before we knew it, they were changing scenes and announcing that we could take a quick break.
“Do you want to stay for the entire play?” he asked.
I glanced around the dimly lit auditorium since they’d turned up the lights a little. “Um, no offense to any of the regulars, but I think we can check this off that bucket list we never knew we had together.”
Dom laughed. “Let’s get out of here then.”
When we stepped outside, I welcomed the nice breeze. Even though I wasn’t cold, I took his jacket just because I wanted to breathe in his masculine smell.
“I had a great time tonight,” I acknowledged, my lips still tingling from his kisses.
“I did too,” he said. “Probably the most fun I’ve had in years.”
I grinned, caught off guard by his honesty, but already wanting to know so much more about him.
“Before we part ways, can I have your phone number?” he asked. Little did he know, I already had my hand on my phone, ready to give up the digits.
He handed me his phone instead and let me enter it myself. I felt him watching me the entire time, and when I met his gaze, his eyes were so intense, my mind so consumed by him, I couldn’t think straight.
Not paying attention to my feet—or better yet, in LaLa Land because of the Dom affect—I slightly tripped and dropped my purse, a few items spilling out.
“Samara Alonso,” Dom whispered, handing me my ID that he’d picked up. “I hope we can do this again, minus the play next time.”
