Eva felt her eyes getting wet. She was not expecting these words from him. She expected him to apologize for not telling her about the party earlier, but he bluntly accepted that he was wishing to attend the party without her.

Richard was upset, too. He thought so much about this meeting, but nothing went as planned

“Why are you sulking now? Aren’t youafter meeting her?

Richard smiled and took Stephen in a warm hug; he even kissed him on his cheek

“God, I love you so much, “Richard commented and Stephen distanced himself from the hug

Steve chuckled at her bantering, whereas Eva just gave a weak smile at them

Richard left the studio along with Eva.

Because of the lateness of the evening, he left Eva at Smith Mansion and concluded that returning to the office would not yield any results.

Eva entered the house and found Rose busy with her phone. The moment she noticed Eva, she disconnected the call and reached for her

“So, did you meet her?”

“Whom?”

“That model, Steve, notified me about your surprise visit there. Is she really beautiful as she appears on screen and in her photos?

"Hmm, yeah, she is. Actually, Richard wanted me to come along with him so I went there.”

“Really! Or is it the other way around? “Rose chuckled and ask

“Steve also told me about a party at the club. You must get ready if you don’t want to be late. Tell me if you need anything, ok."

Eva gave a nod at her and left for her room.

After going through her cupboard, she settled upon a bodycon dress and today she wishes to apply some makeup too. Apparently, she was not very fond of makeup.

She was busy with choosing her jewelry to match perfectly with the dress. She heard a knock on her door.

“Come in."

Rise entered the room and Eva stood up from her place

"I don’t intend to disturb you, dear; I just want to pass this.”

Rose forwarded a small velvet box at her and held the box and opened it. Her eyes go wife looking at the ruby and diamond earrings
