It disheartened Steve to see her likehe cursed himself in his mind to offer that stupid competition. So he took her in a side hug and started patting her head

“Don’t worry, Eva, I will request him and. You know mom will let nothing wrong happen to I…”

Before he could complete the sentence, a loud voice frightened both of them.

“ What the hell is going on here?”

They both jumped at their places in to see Stephen standing at the door with his hands dipped in his pocket of trousers. It was Sunday, so Stephen was wearing a comfortable pair of shirtand trousers. Eva got nervous of him she moved close to Steve and grabbed his arm. Steve could feel her frightened state, so he patted her soft hand to comfort her

Stephen’s keen eyes noticed all this. He wanted to pull Steve away from her and punch him hard in the face. But this will make his girl more scared of him, so he took control of his anger

Steve answers him in an irritated tone, “She was upset and not doing well either, so I came here to give her some medicine and also comfort her.”

“So I think you completed both your tasks. Now I have to talk about something important to her. so leave."

Eva clutched more to Steve and whispered,

“Don’t. Leave me alone with him."

Steve nodded at her and gave a glare at Stephen. He patted Eva’s hand and signaled for her to leave his hand. Eva shook her head in denial, but Steve blinked his eyes to calm her.

Eva understood he cannot deny Stephen’s command, so she left his arm and started battling with her fingers

Steve was leaving the room, giving a glare at Stephen, then he turned around and started in a loud voice

“Don’t worry, I am near your room. Call me if someone troubles you.

Stephen raised his eyebrows at his announcement and just showed by his eyes to leave. The moment he left the door, Stephen pushed the door with his leg to close.

This action made Eva jump in her place. She was trembling in anxiety from inside but wanted to keep a confident facade in front of this devil named Stephen.

“Sit first."

Eva settled on the corner of the bed. Stephen pulled a single chair that was present in the room in front of her and settled on it. Stephen was observing her face, which was now covered with sweat beads

Eva decided to start with her apology so that it could help. Her to some extent.’

‘“ Mr smith I know you are upset with my behavior yesterday. If I said something inappropriate to you in my drunk state, thenI am sorry for that. I know you are here to notify me that I have to leave this house now, but I just want some hours. As I had to inform my dad first, then I will call my friends; maybe they can help me in searching for a dorm or PG. So can you wait till evening? I will leave your home till evening.

“Sorry to say, but you are not going anywhere."

“Hmm, so you will not throw me out of your house.”

Stephen shook his head.

“So will you not punish me too?"
