“Rose…. Actually, I couldn’t find it there “

“Hmm, how is this possible? Wait, let me check?

Rose also entered the kitchen and checked for the cupcakes. “

“I kept it here only. Trust me, I didn’t know how...”

“Relax, I know who did this.?”

“Come with me."

Rose reached the dining table and smacked into Steve‘s head. “You devil, why did you do it? You already finished it right.

“What the hell, mom? What are you shouting about?

“Yes, dear, what’s the matter?” William inquired too

“William, the cupcakes are missing and I am sure that our wicked son had it all."

“That’s very disappointing, Steve, and still you act like you didn’t do it.”

“Yes, did you see his acting skills? How he was asking for more, playing all innocent.”

Stating this, Rose again punched on his arm

“Wait what? cupcake missing, I finished it. I must tell you I didn’t do any sort of this.”

Eva was looking at the scene unfolding in front of her. She noticed how Steve was trying to prove his innocence, and then she noticed a smirk on Stephen’s face. Eva doubted Stephen, but she doesn’t understand why Rose is not doubting him and only Steve. But soon she got the answer when William scolded Steve

“So who else must have done this, as Stephen doesn’t like sweets, so he is out of this?”

Eva was feeling bad for Steve, so she took the matter into her hand, as it’s not a big deal even if Steve has finished the cupcakes

“Don’t scold him. It’s ok if he liked it this much. After all, they meant it for eating only.

And don’t worry, I will make another set of cupcakes, especially for this beautiful couple."

Rose and William smiled at her, whereas Steve just shook his head, but Stephen was looking at Eva.

How cleverly did she solve this matter?

He was feeling bad for Steve

Poor Steve has to bear so much for him.

As it was the weekend and everyone took some rest in their rooms, the way Steve got scolded by the smith couple still disturbed Eva

She made the cupcakes again to lift the mood of the family members., as she already declared.

In one hour she was ready with another set of cupcakes, which were again decorated with beautiful icing. After getting satisfied with her work, she entered the dining room, where the family was waiting for her to join them for lunch.

Eva kept the decorated tray of cupcakes in the center of the glass dining table and got settled for lunch. Rose and William were looking at the cupcakes in astonishment, as it was looking so perfect
