“It’s not over yet. I need to find Wiley.”
She grins. “Gym class. Fourth period. Let’s go.”
Marching into the boys’ locker room like I own it, I scan for Wiley. A few players call out, telling me I can’t be in there. Whatever.
“Where’s Wiley?” I ask.
Some of them hesitate, unsure of whether to answer. I keep moving.
And there he is. Leaning against a locker like he’s God’s gift.
“Presley,” he says with a smirk. “Can’t stay away from me?”
“Cut the shit, Wiley. You told people we hooked up?”
He nods, smug as ever.
“Oh really? When? Before or after you cried duringWhispers of Forever? Or maybe it was when Rygaard dragged me out of there because he couldn’t stand your sorry ass?”
“You stuck-up bitch,” he snarls, raising a hand.
Bad move.
Before he can even blink, I yank the towel from his waist.
And there it is. Or isn’t.
“Wow. That’s what you’ve been bragging about?” I cover my mouth but the laughter bursts out anyway. “Pencil dick, really?”
The other guys stifle their laughs. Agatha’s got her phone up.
“Say cheese,” she chirps.
Wiley lunges like he’s going to swing again.
So I knee him… hard.
“Still doubt you felt that,” I snap. “But try hitting me again, I dare you.”
Then I turn to the room. “Next time this fool lies about me, I’ll bring both my brothers. Got it?”
Agatha and I walk out arm in arm.
This time, I’m not the one feeling ashamed.
And I’m done being anyone’s victim.

“Bitch!I can’t believe that just happened,” Agatha says, just as shocked as I am.
“Me neither… but it feltamazing.” I sigh, tension still humming through my bones. “I’m so sick of people judging me when they don’t evenknowme.”
“Iknowthe real you.” She wraps her arms around me. “And I’m damn proud to call you my bestie boo.”
“Aww, I love you, too.”
